Park in Camden County for wedding ceremony

Hi everyone! I'm seriously considering having my ceremony in one of the parks in Camden County. We are having a very small ceremony with no more than 50 people. We already have a reception site in cherry hill but we can't hold the ceremony there.

Has anyone ever seen any weddings held on the actual grounds of the Camden County parks? Cooper River ? Waterfront? Challenge Grove? Or Burlington or Gloucester County if close???

Re: Park in Camden County for wedding ceremony

  • The Camden County Boathouse on Cooper River may work perfectly for your ceremony.  I think they have a gazebo off to the side for outdoor ceremonies.
  • I was in a wedding a few years back that we used Cooper River Park for pictures. There are some really beautiful spots there. Also there is Red Bank Battlefield in National Park(West Deptford area, actually Gloucester County but not far). It is really pretty back there and alot more private then Cooper River. I haven't there in a couple years but there's a gigantic tree with low branches that we used to climb all of as kids that would make for some really awesome unique pictures. There's a ton of history there as well with old war cannons.
