2014 Brides Planning yet?

Hello Future Mrs!

I'm getting really excited even thought the wedding isn't until 2014. I've already toured about 10 venues and we will probably book with Brigalias. I'm looking to get inspiration from other brides around the area. I also want to know just how excited you are so that I know I'm not the only Bride overly excited with a wedding almost 2 years away?

    Our wedding is going to be in August 2014 and I am super excited.  Brigalia's was one of the first places we toured - it is absolutely gorgeous.. your ceremony will be beautiful.  I loved the grounds there!

    Congrats!  My engagement is almost 2 years long as well and I'm glad I took my time.  I booked as many vendors as I could as soon as I got engaged so I would have less to worry about down the road.  Another huge bonus of booking vendors sooner than later is that you'll be able to lock in 2012 pricing.  I am shocked at how much the rates of many of my vendors have gone up in price since we booked them almost 2 years ago!

    Congrats! I'm not a 2014 bride (May 2013, actually) but my engagement is a year & 9 months long. I agree with PP about booking things when you can. We were able to lock in cheaper prices & there has been no stress whatsoever (yet) as far as planning and booking vendors goes. Good luck!

    I wanted an outside ceremony, so Brigalias it is! Their garden was fabulous. As for booking early, I definitely will, I want to take my time and not stress, but enjoy every moment. My daughter seems to like all the planning and seeing vendors, too. You could say she is my Wedding Planner Assistant!

    I got engaged at the beginning of this month and we're planning a May 2014 wedding. I actually live in Philly, but Brigalia's is one of my top choices. So far, I have appts set up next week for The Regal Ballroom in Philly and The Merion in Cinnaminson, I have to make an appt with Brigalia's. Can any Brigalia brides give me a per person rate for their packages, just so I know what I'm going into when I visit? Thanks girls, and happy planning!!

    I just got engaged at the very end of June, and I am very excited too! I've been told the year will fly by! My fiance' and I are looking at a Jersey shore wedding. He popped the question on the beach in OC, where we have shared lots of long runs together.

    I have heard a lot of nice things about Brigalias, not sure about prices. 

    I *think* the Merion allow outside catering, which may be a good way to save money.

    I'm so glad other 2014 brides are planning as well...everyone keeps telling me "you have lots of time," but I am just so excited!
