Rent a Priest??

I"m getting married in August of this year in Cape May..I've heard about Rentapriest.com as a good way to find retired/ex priests who will officiate ceremonies with prayers, etc but not in a church.  We are getting married at the ferry terminal and I would like some aspects of the Catholic rituals as part of our ceremony. Anyone ever used this site or any former priests?

I have not but it sounds a little weird and the website looks a little sketchy.

My cousin is Catholic, but she wanted to get married at a golf course so she used Father Owels. Many of the readings and most of the ceremony (aside from the Mass) was very similar to my own wedding which was done in a Catholic Church. HIs number is (609) 202-0120 if you're interested. However, if you want the church to recognized your sacrement you will have to have a convalidation ceremony at some point in the church. Good luck and congrats!
