just random questions

Has anyone ever used/thought of using fake flowers for centerpieces? I was at a local AC Moore last night and saw these beautiful pink and yellow calla lilies that I thought would look awesome for a centerpiece in a glass vase with clear glass beads. Would anyone else agree that it would make for an inexpensive yet eyecatching idea?

Also, how can I get my fiance to be a little more involved in planning? As much as I enjoy looking at stuff and getting ideas, I want him to put his two cents in somewhere. I don't enjoy doing EVERYTHING by myself.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I feel so overwhelmed and we still haven't even really set a date yet so we're currently just throwing ideas around.

Yes, plenty of girls do their own centerpieces with fake flowers.  Head over to the DIY board and you'll find tons of bios and examples of them to inspire you!

To get your FI more involved, just simply ask him to.  When you find something you like, ask him his opinion and that will get him involved.  That worked for my DH...still does for other things around the house now.
