reception venues

I'm looking for affordable reception venues for less than $80/ head.  Any suggestions??

Where in SoJo are you looking?  More towards the Cherry Hill area or down towards the beach area?  And do you want sit down or buffet?

Look into Lucien's Manor in Berlin. I believe it is there. They have affordable packages and you get a lot for your money! Good luck.

Depending upon the season you want to get married in and the size of the wedding I'd recommend going to look at Tomasello's Winery in Hammonton.  They certainly have some packages for under $80 a head.

The Castle in Delran.  Depending on when you want to get married they have an outdoor area you can use for the ceremony and then a separate room for the cocktail hour and another for the reception.  Very nice and lots of food!

Check out Fontana's in Maple Shade.  Their lowest package should come out around $80pp including tax and gratuity.  There is no space for ceremony on site though if you are looking for that.  Review in Bio (link in siggy).

I second the Castle in Delran.  We had our wedding there in December and it was amazing! The food and service were excellent! We got a good deal for having our wedding in an "off-month" but they have good prices all year round!

I visited the Castle and I wasn't too impressed. I recommend Brigalia's in Sicklerville or Adelphia's in Deptford. It all depends on personal taste. So visit as many sites as you can! Aulettos is nice. Lucien's is nice as long as you get the bigger room. I didn't like the small room for weddings of about 100. I also didn't like that Lucien's ceremony site is in the basement. The Merion is spectacular! But VERY expensive. Good luck!

Definitely check out Valleybrook Country Club -- They have the best prices and they are inclusive of your cake, open bar & your cocktail hour.  Our reception was BEAUTIFUL and we paid $49.95 per person.   It included our cake, chair covers, 5 hour open bar (with 1 hr cocktail hour).. Definitely worth checking out.
