Hair and Make-up

I still have about 11 months, so I wasn't concerned about this at all.  I started talking to 2 of my BM about it the other day and it got me thinking about how fast (or not) stylists around here get booked up for weddings.  I am leaning toward having someone who will come to my house, if that makes a difference. SO the questions is: When did you (or will you) book your hair/makeup person? TIA

    I booked my make-up stylist 12.5 months out. I knew she booked up fast, and wanted to make sure I wasn't scrambling. I also spoke to my regular hair stylist about doing my hair, but haven't officially booked her yet - I'm still deciding if I'm going to go to her at the salon or have her come to my hotel. In my experience, the sooner the better.

    I booked mine about 9 months out:  Mia from Creations by Mia.  You can look her up on her website: www.creationsbymia.com  She will come to your location to do your hair AND makeup, and she and her assistant do a fabulous job!

    Musicheals71- I filled out the online form for more info for her yesterday!  I keep hearing good things about her.

    I booked mine already, last month. So I guess thats 11 months in advance. I had a lot of reccommendations for her (Karen C) and I wanted to make sure she was available. I havent had my trial or anything yet so Im hoping shes as good as everyone makes her out to be.

    Thanks for the info on the make-up and hair artist.  I needed on as well, and I am going to check out Mia.
