Father's tuxedo?

Hi Ladies,

Just was wondering if the father of the bride's tuxedo has to match the tuxedos of the groomsmen??  Thanks!!

for us, my dad, FI's uncle (FI's dad passed away in Dec. '08 so he has his uncle standing in) and grandfathers are matching, ONLY because they didnt have another silver vest that would match the mom's as well as the ones that the groomsmen are wearing cause the moms are wearing a color very similar to my bridesmaids.

and all the men are in tuxes because its a jewish wedding and the family is part of the "bridal party".

IMO, if you can find something that matches the moms...I say got for that, but still match your colors.

My dad will not be matching.  He's wearing whatever he wants!  haha.  FFIL is probably just buying a nice suit, no tux.

My dad hates wearing tuxedos.  If I tell him to wear whatever he wants though, I'll be nervous to see what he puts together!  Thank god my mom will be there to keep him in check :o
    Thanks for your reponse!

I meant whatever tux he wants.  He's definitely wearing a tux, but I'm not picking it out for him.  He and my mom can handle it.
