Reception issues - need opinions

Hi all! Hope everyone is well...

My FI and I were thinking of wedding and short cocktail reception at Cape May lighthouse...then an "after party" if anyone wants to go back at the hotel if not plenty to see and do in the Cape or it ends early enough to go home (we live 2 hours away) Not conventional but we've both had tremendous weddings and don't want another one...

I'd like to hear opinions cause I'm kinda on the fence...

    You should double check me, but I think state parks policy prohibits alcohol. So you might want to check that if you were planning on serving drnks for the cocktail hr reception. But it is so beautiful there! I think it's a great location.

    That was part of the reason I only wanted something small. Just have a simple dry reception because I love the location. Thanks!
