I'm still working on my vendor reviews, but wanted to post a general warning about Philadelphia Wedding Lighting/BIG Events
We hired them based on the reccomendation of a friend of my mom's, who is in the event business. BIG mistake. Mike, the owner, showed up at the venue, stayed for a half hour, and left two very low level employees to finish. The lighting was a mess-the pinspots missed about half the tables, and on many that he got, the arrangements were only half done. Then he tried to tell my mom it was because my florist was late-it turns out that wasn't true (our caterer saw the whole thing go down), and then refused to refund any of the money. Fortunately, half of it was on a charge card, and is going to be disputed. At any rate-even if my florist was running late-it was the lighting vendor's job to stay and do the lighting properly. Mike, the owner, is a liar and a cheat who does horrible work. This was a 27 table job, with many uplights around the room too-and clearly he just didn't care about doing the job right.
DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!
