tight budget wedding-- parks in South Jersey

I really want to have my wedding outside. I'm on a tight budget and I do not mind with tent and table rentals and what not, but have no idea where to start with having a wedding at a park. does anyone have any park suggestions? Can you do it at parks? (such as state parks, somewhere beautiful, especially in spring) are parks reccommended even, or would it better to be at someones house instead outisde. I want a beautiful outside wedding and just don't want everything to fall apart because of where i'm having it. any suggestions?

Hi! I also looked into possibly having my wedding at a park, but I found during my search that there's not too many options as far as having a wedding in a park around me, so instead, we're throwing a luau-themed engagement party at Ocean County Park... I don't know how south you are, but I am in the ocean/monmouth county area... A lot of the parks have limits on the number of people you can reserve for, some don't allow tents, and almost all don't allow alcohol... good luck with your search! :)

Look into Gaskill Park in Mays Landing.  I know they used to have weddings there, but I haven't lived in the area for a while so I don't know if its still available for private parties.

I know there's an area by the Cap May Zoo that's a beautiful spot for weddings. I don't know if they have tables and such since I've only seen ceremonies while passing through.
