i had honestly thought about doing this....but i figured with the cost of renting and then catering....it would be just as much...plus the probelm i saw with it was many of the beach houses dont have a large enough room to accommodate our 160ish guests....I think its a great idea but just wouldnt work for us!!! Good luck

    Hi!
I hooked my fiances family up with MarysHouse to stay in over my wedding weekend. They are staying at the 211 Grant St, Cape May house. I know it has been really easy to work with them so far, but we won't have a review for you for another 2 weeks. It is really cheap and convienent in the off-season especially if you have a lot of people. They are letting us have the house for a long weekend instead of a whole week since its the off-season.

I don't know if this would work well for a lot of guests and would probably be really stressful to make sure you have caterer, dishes, bathrooms, generators...etc. You may want to look into renting one as a home base but then having the reception at a restaurant. If you are looking in Cape May, Union Park and Peter Shields both have affordable options for this and will help organize a beach ceremony.
