I would suggest bringing pictures of what you are thinking you like, this way your florist is able to see what you have in mind. I brought several pictures with me of a few different things I liked, my florist was able to put everything I liked into one!!  Flowers have been the best part of wedding planning for me, I feel like it is what brought the whole vision of my day together. Also if you budget allows and you florist does it, go with the uplighting! It really transforms your venue. My friend had amber uplighting for her fall themed wedding and the room looked amazing!! I had been to two weddings at the same place prior to her wedding and could not believe I was in the same room!! I am going with purple uplighting since my color is eggplant. Good Luck and Have FUN!!!
