south jersey shore(Stone Harbor beach wedding)

HI everyone on the south jersey board!!

I am trying to wrap up some of my final planning for my wedding next September in Stone harbor. I am not from Jersey, we actually live in Pittsburgh, Pa, but decided to get married on the beach in stone harbor b/c it is our yearly vacation spot and has special meaning to us since we both vacationed there as kids.

I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a some things that I still need to plan.
-hair and make up
-bakery for wedding cake
-transportation

    i am using the OC Cake Studio in Ocean City. They are awesome and the cakes are so so good!!! Like the best cake I ever ate good. A bit pricey, but if cake is your thing, cannot reccomend them enough!

    I don't have any suggestions for those things because I'm still figuring them out as well.  However, I'm also getting married in Stone Harbor next September and just wanted to make you aware of the Wings and Water Festival that's held at the Wetlands every September.  It's always the third week of the month and attracts quite a few people.  I don't know your date, but in 2012 it falls on the weekend of September 14, 15, 16th, so if your wedding is planned for that weekend I'd send STD's sooner rather than later and tell people to book hotel rooms ASAP.  If this doesn't apply to you, sorry for talking so much and thread-jacking.  If it does, I hope it helps :)  GL!

    Yes, im aware of the wings and water festival. We vaction in Stone harbor every year. My save the dates went out 2 weeks ago and everyone who is going has already started to look at the beach house rental sites.
    My date is Sept 12th(a wednesday).

    Hello!  I am getting married in Cape May and my reception is in Avalon.  I am using A Bridal Beauty for my and my bridal party's hair and makeup (they come to your location!)  I am using the Great American Trolley company for my transportation.  Pretty reasonable prices for both...
