Local Bakeries

Hey Ladies!

I am starting to set up cake testings for our cake! Our cake is included in our package at Scotland Run but we can choose between a few bakeries. Our three are Anne Marie's Bakery, Classic Cake, and Patisserie de Manille. I personally haven't tried any cakes from either places but was wondering if anyone else on here has any input on them? Any input would help.. I am so not a cake girl and would much rather have an ice cream cake instead.. haha!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! <3

Classic Cake is delicious.  I am going for my cake testing next week, but I have had birthday cakes from there and they are really good.  I will let you know how it goes.

Patisserie de Manille is delicious!!! She's really into French style baking so she really only makes mousses. She's apparently well known for her mango mousse which is really good. I personally LOVED the raspberry mousse that was my favorite! She also has chocolate and strawberry mousse. Her fruit mousses are soo good. You forget that you're even eating a mousse because it tastes like you're eating fruit. mmm delic! Have fun!! BTW Karen is really nice.

Which Classic Cake are you going to? If you go to the Sewell one, I know the manager really well her name is Sharon and she's a sweetheart.
