Summit Catering --

hey ladies! i dont know if any of you have looked into having your wedding catered by Summit Catering but they seem to be amazing!
I just have one question: The packages for Summit Catering, include a dj and centerpieces (if you want to use them, you can opt out of it..) We decided to opt out of the centerpieces, but may go with the DJ company that works with them ... Which is where my question stems from. Has anyone heard or worked with the dj company: Time Productions?? I tried to google the company and went on yelp.com to find some reviews, which I had no luck with. Its just that music is such a BIG part of a wedding, which  makes me 'ify' about going with a company that I have never heard anything about --- Please help me ladies if you can!!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!
:)

I was MOH in a wedding done by Summit Catering and the bride used their DJ.  I'm not sure of the name of the man she used, but I wasn't a huge fan of him.  He played alot of oldies and didn't really get people out on the floor.  I have to add though that the bride gave him no play list or anything, which can make the DJs job harder.

we used Summit for our wedding 4 years ago.. and we STILL get comments about how nice our wedding was and how fun it was.
Summit did an amazing job with everything. the food was great, the hall looked great ( we had ours at Palmyra Harbour), and everything was just so organized and well-run. you can tell they do this a lot :-)
we used their DJ time productions and we had Mark. he was great! he was a younger guy.... played a pretty good mix of songs. people were out dancing the whole time and he motivated people to dance, but wasn't too "in-your-face" or cheesy. I talked to him on the phone about 2 weeks before the wedding about what type of music we liked, etc and it worked out well. Again, this was 4 years ago so i'm not sure if hes still with them but I thought he was good :-)

I used them many moons ago (8 years ago), so I can't remember the DJ's name but they were great. Time Productions let me attend a wedding (didn't really enter the wedding site but hung outside with the wait staff) to see if I liked any of their DJ's. I saw a few that were great. I had a great time at my wedding and EVERYONE was dancing and having a good time on the dance floor. It's not the DJ, it's the couple to be married. If they aren't on the dance floor, then nobaody will be out there either. But good music selection helps. Anyway, my cousins and aunt were so impressed with my wedding they are using Summit and their DJ's for my cousins wedding. Good luck and they will be great. Just tell them what you like/dislike and have all your "Special" songs  (intro, 1st dance, mother/son dance etc on a cd for them so they play exactly what you want & expect.
