We are getting married on 11-11-11. The original date was in October of 2012, but for other reasons we have decided to have the wedding ceremony ONLY on 11-11-11 and the the wedding reception in October of 2012. We are getting married in Mammoth Lakes, CA and live in San Diego. It would work like this:
Attend the ceremony. Afterwards, we would have cake -- the location that the ceremony is at has a bar/resturant so cake would be served there. Afterwards we are changing to more comfy clothes to head to town for dinner and dancing. Guests would be on their own this time around for drinks and dinner as we are doing the reception next year.
Was wondering if anyone has ever been to a "NO HOST RECEPTION" or thoughts on this? thanks!
