So...

My friends have told me they started sending RSVPs.  One friend sent me one a week ago and it's still not here.  My mom sent hers the same day as she sent me another card... and I got that but not the RSVP.

I'm sorry you are having to deal with this.  Did you use forever stamps or 45-cent stamps?  If so, I'd give it a few more days before you start worrying.

I used forever stamps, and the envelope is a normal, RSVP sized envelope.  I dont get it!! But I'm starting to get nervous

That is very odd! Hmm. I wonder if it got misplaced or put in the wrong stack at the PO or something since it's a smaller envelope. That could be why it's taking a little longer to get to you. Also, people have told me they mailed things to me (but they had a stack of mail) and then realized one letter dropped down under their car seat and they didn't see it for a week.

One of my besties mailed out invites to her daughter's 1st b-day party and only half of them were actually received!  I have no idea what's wrong with the mail, but I hope everyone gets their invites since I dumped them off at the PO yesterday.  I'd give it a few days and see what's up.

They apparently came today, my building manager emailed me!  Apparently the 3's looked like 8's, so first they got routed to a suburb mail station and then forwarded to me.  They told me all of them might come that way, but at least they will definitely get to me.

Crisis averted.
