Barclay's in Belmar

Hi.  Has anyone ever been to a wedding or have any positive or negative information about the Barclay's in Belmar, NJ?  It seems nice, judging from the website, but I haven't heard of any reviews on it at all.  The wedding will be small about 50-70 people, in 2012 sometime.  Thanks.

    I checked it out.   It looks a lot nicer in pictures than it did in person.  To be honest, I thought it looked run down.  But that's just my 2 cents.

    My fiance and I had an appointment to view the place a few months ago.  We got there early and ended up cancelling before we had a chance to see the inside because the outside looked like it needed a lot of work.  I agree with ev4149, it was pretty run down.  We did also look at a place in Bayville that we liked, Martell's Water's Edge.

    I actually had my high school senior prom there back in 2000.  It was nice but it was run down back then and I am not sure if any renovations have been done.  It is close to the beach and across the street from a man made lake with a gazebo so that was a plus for pictures. .
