  • Quoted from my e-mail:

Our inclusive wedding packages and menus are completely customizable to meet your every desire. I have attached our Grand Reception Menu for your review.  Please note included in your package are the following: personalized wedding cake, linens, napkins and our existing centerpieces, along with your own private bridal suite and attendant  for the day. Packages may range from $80 to $105 pp plus sales tax and service fee. We offer 2 ceremony sites overlooking the water and in a garden setting. You will have 30 minutes to celebrate your marriage with cocktail hour immediately following.  The ceremony fee is $500, includes white chairs, set-up and break down.

I do not believe this includes alcohol but you may want to clarify with them on that.

  • I read on the message board that Clarks Landing doesn't supply alcohol, you have to get your own, is this true?

  • Yep it's BYO at the Castle. I haven't been there since they renovated but the food was good for other events I'd attended.
  • As far as I know yes, so that's an additional cost above their per head price.

  • Basically your looking at 120-130 a person with tax and gratuity not including alcohol. That's high for this area in my opinion, there are some great venues for much less.

Yes, you have to provide your own alcohol and can arrange a package through a local Canal's, I think.

I know two couples who have had events here and they were both very pleased with the service and food. I toured the venue in April or May of 2012 (can't remember) and thought it was really nice but ultimately went with another option. The ballroom is beautiful (especially the windows), the newer ceremony area (there are two outdoor options) is a little small/narrow in my opinion, but nice.
  • We are having our reception there this year and they have been great to work with and we have found them to be affordable also, nevermind the place is beautiful.
  • I was married there in 2005(since divorced),but it was wonderful. I had one of the first weddings or so there. I think they have new owners, but the food was amazing and my guests couldn't say enough about how much they gave you during cocktail hour. I had my ceremony outside. At the time there was only the one garden which didn't even had the privacy bushes yet. (very new) It was lovely. One thing to be are of if you use the garden, the Riverline train comes through there and honks the horn. If you don't care, then no worries, but it came through while we were doing our vows.  I also had a truck come through the back parking lot in the gravel so that was annoying. Not sure what it looks like back there now, but it was a great place and I had many compliments. No alcohol included, but use Canals. They reimburse for any unopened bottles. (not wine though)
  • went to a wedding here in nov 2011 when it was the castle. great time and the food was delicious. have not been since it has been renovated, but heard it was so nice!

I thought this place was beautiful and reasonable priced and she did tell us she would work with us. I am having over 225 guest so I thought the space would be to tight even thought she did say she could  fit us all. If it was bigger it would have been my pick.
