One Atlantic Weddings?????

Hey All,

I am newly engaged and starting the process of looking at venues.  Has anyone had their ceremony AND reception at the pier in Caesars (One Atlantic) - I'm just wondering how pricey it is compared to other places you looked at. My guest list right now is around 215.  Thanks!!Smile

    HI and Congrats!!!

Our guest list is around 215 as well... and we have already booked our wedding ceremony AND reception for OA in April of next year!

I honestly didn't even want to look at OA b/c I thought it was going to be too much.  But I'm sooooo glad my mother insisted.  Not only did I love it... but my fiance and dad said it was their top pick too!

It's definitely on the higher end of my price range... but they do have the option of booking a friday/sunday night for ($10 less pp) and also booking Nov-Apr for ($10 less pp).  We were thinking spring... and decided to go April b/c it saved us a good chunk of our budget.

Ultimately for 200+ people it starts about $145 pp (before tax) this includes a 4 hour sit down dinner, 1 hour of passed cocktails and 5 hours open bar.

But then you can go down $10 pp if you have it "off season" (Nov-Apr) == /> $135
And then down another $15-10 pp if you have it on a Fri/Sun == /> $120-125

Since you said you're having the cermony there... it's another $10 pp for ceremony set up/break down == /> $130-135 pp

Oh and the seperate site fee for a ceremony is another $1,500/$3,000 (before tax) off-season/prime season

Mind you this is all from what I wrote down in April... and pricing could definitely change given your wedding date.  But hopefully it'll give you a good idea of the range it'll be.

That said you should really go check it out... it is FABULOUS and worth the trip alone.

Thank you so much!  I have an appt there today actually - and it's my #1 pick so I'm crossing my fingers for it.  We were hoping for a Nov/Oct  2012 Laughingwedding so hopefully something will work out.  $145 per person is exactly what I was guessing..... so happy about this too.  Thanks so much!!

We looked there - and it was beautiful. One of the reasons we decided against is that they make you use their vendors but won't release the list to you until after you sign the contract. I wasn't really thrilled with that, personally. It's a nice space - but I wanted more control over my wedding. They will take care of everything for you, but you have to do it their way. The summer months - as I recall - were 175/pp with a minimum of 200. off season was the lesser price the person mentioned above. It depends on when you want to get married. Also, if you wanted to get married ASAP like in a month or two - you could get the off season prices. Good luck!

Funny you mention "the list"... that was one of my biggest concerns.  And actualy became quite an issue b/c I wanted to use my vedor selection to decide on one of two weekends and they REFUSED to give it to me.  After arguing for about a week, they gave me the name of maybe 4 photographers and none of which I chose in the end.

After booking in May, we're 4 months into planning... and I have YET to see A LIST!   Honestly "the list" is whoever they feel like telling you about the day you call.  Even if you email them looking for ideas, they'll send you the same few names you've already been given (including ones out of your range or not available on your date).  Quite worthless in my experience.  Which is why we choose people off the list and paid the "fee".  Ultimately anyone on their list is paying them (and charging you) a kickback anyway... so it all come out the same.

They should just drop the list all together and say they can recommend vendors who have all the necessary licenses, etc. to transport goods onto the pier! The whole thing turned me off - we ended up going with a private estate in PA - but I know your wedding will be beautiful. Would love to see pics, so be sure to post! (The spot lighting they can do on centerpieces was a personal favorite built-in touch of mine!)

    Hey bride to be!

I hear you about "the list"!  I am actually a photographer in their list, and it's no picnic either because they take a portion of my fee to photograph their brides, so I wind up making way less money... I think they should just let you use whoever you want and not restict you to "the list"... and they shouldnt be so stingy about giving the list out either - I think that is a little rude.  I'm glad I know that now!

Overall though, they do put on a very gorgeous wedding - ceremony and reception - and the staff there are incredible to work with and the day turns out beautifully!

Wishing you lots and lots of luck!

  • Could you tell me what the 'fee' is that they charged you for outside vendors?  I have my heart sent on a certain photographer and I have an appointment to see OA.  I don't want to see the space and fall in love with it and not be able to book my photgrapher.

I see from your previous post you are now married. Congratulations!
