tanning

I'm getting married in the fall and don't want to be pale for my wedding.  I don't tan easily and I've never used tanning lotions before.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you want to use a self tanner or a lotion to use for a tanning bed?  Have you thought about spray or airbrush tan?

I wouldn't use lotions.  If you are interested in a spray tan, make sure you get a few in advance to make sure you like the look of it - and take pictures to see if you like the way it photographs.  For a "real" tan, I'd just get a package for a tanning bed, start with a few minutes in the bed and as you build color, stay in the bed longer.  I plan on getting a tanning package this weekend.  I'm going to go for the next two months and go about twice a week up until the wedding in October.  I don't want to have too much color, but I also want it to look natural - not orange.  I also don't want something that may rub off on my expensive dress!

In my opinion, I think you will look lovely just the way you are :)

I agree. I've tried the lotions before and I'm not a fan at all.  I'll go in the booth if I have to, but I'm fair skinned and will just end up torturing my skin.  I've never gotten a spray tan and I certainly don't want to be orange or ruin my dress!  I like your idea about testing it a few times first.  Thanks!

jamie you can also get "clear" when you spray tan so you don't get that fake look.  My friend uses it because she is really fair and it gives her a nice brown glow.  She goes to tantini in glassboro.  They also airbrush there too!!  If you are going to spray just make sure you exfoliate first!

I am not much of a tanning bed person, ever since i heard that everytime you go in a tanning bed you raise your risk of cancer by over 50%. So i have been pale more often now :)  BUT i have stumbled upon the best place you could ever get a spray tan. Its called the bodyairbrush salon and spa. Its a new type of way to be spray tanned. Its actually what the celebreties use to get tan. Its ALL NATURAL ingredients and its IMPOSSIBLE to turn orange. They use this stuff thats in baby formula that actually makes your melonin change to its natural tanning color. They are a medically trained staff too. Its actually so natural that they have to drink some of it when they train for the position so that they are confident in their product. It lasts for a week and its only $27. I 100% recommend them . They are located in PA but its only 15 minutes from the Walt whitman bridge. Check out their website http://www.bodyairbrushspa.com

Collthedoll...I went to see Bonnie last night.  She was so nice.  I told her that you posted her number on here and she was trying to figure out who you are, LOL.  She wants to thank you!  I can't believe how tan I look, and it looks so natural, and it's anti-aging!  I can't wait to see how I look with my dress on. Thank you so much! Sealed
