Some Vendor Reviews!

I pretty much found all my vendors through recommendations both on the knot and through friends, so hopefully this will help someone else out there!

Venue: Lucien's Manor  A+
The staff at Lucien's (specifically my coordinator Melanie) were very helpful.  The responded to emails within 24 hours, or someone was always available via phone.  There was a small problem with my seating chart that was totally my own fault.  I named my tables, and forgot to bring in the name of one of the tables.  On the day of my wedding, Melanie used construction paper in my wedding colors and made the table name for me.  Just an example of how they go above and beyond.  The room was gorgeous (the grande ball room) and the food was amazing.  They even accomidated my vegan cousins.   I can say nothing bad about this place.

Rehersal Dinner:  Tarantella Restorante  A+
They have a separate room for large parties that accomidated my 27 person rehersal dinner (there was alot of room to spare).  Food was delicious, served family style. It's a BYOB and they let us bring in our own deserts.  We stayed for about 3 hours and never felt like they were rushing us.

Dress:  Macy's Demitrios Salon  A
I got both my dress and my vail from Macy's and found them to be very helpful and patient.  I tried on about 15 dresses and the consultant never rushed me or my mom who was also trying on MOB dresses.

Flowers: Mums the Word A+
I used Maria after reading all the reviews on here about her.  I can definitely say they are welll deserved!  I loved my flowers.  She was very easy to work with and her energy is infectious.   I love her!

Photographer: Intrigue Photography A +
My photographer, Jeff, came at a recommendation from a friend.  He and his partner were so easy to work with.  They custimized a package that fit my price range, but they are a little on the pricey side.  He is definitely worth it though. On the wedding day, I had two photographers Jeff and ...(I forget the other guy's name).  Both of them kept my husband, myself and the wedding party relaxed and laughing.  He kept the whole process alot of fun.  During the reception he blended in with everyone, and it seemed like he took over a thousand pictures.  I am really excited to see the final results!

Make Up:  Merdith Lane  A +
Very easy to work with and affordable.  She came to my house to do a free trial and came to my house the day of the wedding to do my makeup.

DJ:  Champion Sound Production A +
My reception started at noon, so I was a little nervous about people being in the mood to dance.  I shouldn't have wasted the time worring.  As soon as dinner was finished, Ron had the dance floor packed from start to finsih.  He threw in some props (think hats, leis and blow up guitars) which were a huge hit and he also threw in lighting for free.

Tux: All Over Town.  D
I probably should have just gone with Men's Warehouse since I had alot of out of town groomsmen,  but he said as long as everyone mailed him their measurements it would be okay.  First when the guys mailed him their measurements, he filed them in the wrong wedding, even though they wrote my fiance's name and the date of the wedding on form.  Then they said they never got the measurements of one of the groomsmen, just happened to be the only in town groomsmen who actually went to the store t get measured.  They must have lost it.  I wanted to pick up the tuxes the weekend before the wedding, that way all the guys could come down to South Jersey for a weekend and try them on.  At first he was okay with this, then as the weekend approached he said the tuxes wouldn't be in until Monday, then it was Wednesday then it was he didn't know when.  They did eventually come in, and the guys went down Friday to try them on before the rehersal.  Only one tux fit.  Two of the guys missed the rehersal and the dinner to straighten it all out.  He didn't get an F because the day of the wedding, the Tuxes did fit.

Limo: All Over Town  B
Yes they are a tux/ limo rental place.  Surprsingly the limos weren't a real problem the day of the wedding.  Though I did have a couple vans and SUVs of friends on stand by just in case.  The drivers didn't have the write directions to the church or reception, but at least there were people in both limos who knew the way.

Hair: Salon Zu'Gaib A +
They opened up an hour and a half early to do everyone's hair who wanted it done.  Very very responable prices (especially for Marlton).  Everyone loved their hair the day of the wedding and they even let my one friend do her own hair in their salon since she didn't have the money to pay to have her hair done.

Sorry it's so long, but I hope this helps someone out there!
