Has anyone gotten married here?

I've never been there, but I do have a friend getting married there next month. She absolutely loves it and raves about it all the time.

How many people is she having? Is it expensive? I have 200 people and a budget of $20,000.

I looked at Tomasello and thought that the prices were very affordable , however they didn't include wine so that is something that you have to factor in. I think that there packages started at around 48.00  The room is very small and even though they say 150, I think that the room is way to small to accommodate that amount of people comfortably. It's perfect for a small intimate wedding IMO.

Also they didn't have a bridal suite, only  a bathroom inside the room where the
reception. If you are interested in another winery check out Renault in Egg Harbor City.

I was at another event there and it is very nice with great food, but the ballroom is small.  Valenzano Winery in Shamong just opened a brand new ballroom that holds up to 250 I think and they have several caterers to choose from.  I have also heard good things about Renault Winery.

I agree we also looked at Tomasello and the room was smaller. We ended up going with Renault Winery and our wedding was amazing! They do include all wine and wine based cocktails. We did have to bring beer in but we worked with the liquor store they recommended and it was only an extra $450 more and they delivered.
The grand ballroom holds up to 250 guests and they also have a hotel on site that majority of our guests took advantage of our room block. To me Renault had more of that wedding feel we were looking for. There are a few pics in my bio if you want to take a look. There is also a winery I believe in New Egypt that does weddings, Laurita Winery.

I am getting married here on November 20th. We have around 70 - 80 people. Our budget for them is 3,000 - that includes - wine favors, cake, extra appitizers and the sit down dinner. They do the wine on a consumption basis and you bring in your own liquor and beer.

I have to say that the food is amazing and the managers are great to work with so far. But it is on the smaller side.

We also had a $20000 and Tomasello was just about at the limit of what we could afford . We do love the people there as well as their wine. Renault was way out of the budget and we only had $100 people. We booked the Vintners pavilion at Valenzano. We have also been to the ballroom there and it is lovely. We felt both locations were just more pretty than Tomasello (didn't feel like we were right on the main road and smashed between other businesses) and gave us more freedom by hiring a cater.  We hired Summit Catering and it is like hiring a wedding planner at the same time and includes most of your flowers and DJ and made it all fit in our budget!

    Good luck!
    Anniversary
