Happy Thursday. Today is going to be an emotional day for me- last day at work with my kiddos and teachers.

I'm on the verge of tears right now. Ugh. At least we are traveling to Pittsburgh tonight.

What is everyone else up to today? Last day of work until after Christmas?

I'm currently on the phone with Anthro because they goofed up my order.  I ordered some things with initials on them, and they sent me the wrong letter, but I actually could use the letter they sent me as another gift so I'm trying to see how I need to go about ordering the other one because I already have it... it's confusing.  Other than that its our last day that we're open before Christmas so I'm here until 2pm and then I'm going home to wrap presents for my parents and eat some leftover soup that I made (I shared the recipe, it is AMAZING!).  I'm super hungry though...

Hello! I have a full day of work today, and a half day tomorrow.

Just about everyone in the office is gone so it is going to be a  good day to get some work done. Instead of listening to people bitch and complain about Christmas, Family and their work.  I love the sound of productivity.

FI is coming home again! He has been visiting his parents for the past few days and he is coming home and we are doing a Christmasy night...He is making dinner, watching Christmas movies and just being festive. Does anyone remember this Christmas Special? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103272/ I used to watch it ALLLL the time when I was younger and FI and I were trying to find it and all I remember was it was a penguin with an ugly sidekick and his butt would fall off.

Aww Hike - thinking about you today, I'm sure it is going to be really emotional, but just know your always a teacher and those kids will remember you and will appreciate you and what you have done for them.

Its just another Thursday for me, I work today and tomorrow. I'm actually in VB now for the weekend, so I'm heading to my neighbor (coworker)s house to work this morning, and then I need to go to the NEX later and get FI something for Christmas.

I guess I'm being a Grinch, but Every time someone leaves they say "Merry Christmas" to which I reply "Merry Christmas" and after 30 times this morning.. I'm pretty over it.  I just want to be like "STFU" Of course I don't, but I really really want to!!

Yay Thursday!

I am at work today, we have a work lunch thingy today; I am supposed to get off at 5 the next 2 days (so an hour earlier than usual) so that's nice....otherwise, I'm studying for my next test.... yay reproductive health!

FI and his brother are driving up to VA right now as we speak!!! I'm pretty excited

Oh Sami, when I worked retail I remember how annoying it could get, especially  working Christmas Eve...But, I always tried to have fun with people by saying "Happy Hanukkah" or my favorite "Happy Kwanzaa"  Sometimes people would respond with "Oh, I'm so sorry..." But, I always think, why would anyone get offended by a holiday greeting? I never understood that.

Anyway!

I'm really disturbed right now.. I had our back door propped open cause it can get kind of stuffy in here, and I went out to close it, and I'm pretty sure I saw a prostitute getting into someone's car.  (Sorry to my FB friends who may have already seen me post about this same thing... but clearly, I'm really disturbed by it.)  I see her walking around all the time and she never has shoes on... Is that a thing?  Like some "John's" wont let them wear shoes or am I making this up in my head...?

Oh stressful Thursday. I have testing today. I'm hoping I pass both tests which will qualify me for interviews for the position one level above me now.

P.S.

Yesterday I decided I no longer like my wedding dress. I just don't think I like the style any more. We'll see if I can exchange it.
