Honor Guard on a Wedding Program

I'm currently making my wedding programs (60 days out now!) And; for the Honor Guard do you spell out their rank or can I abbreviate?

I'm still a little iffy on how to make a full Military wedding.

    What branch?

    I know they abbreviated the ranks in the program for the Navy ball.  I'd assume that would be pretty similar as an example if you are Navy.

    I'm fairly certain that you can abbreviate on programs. Invites and stuff, not so much, but I think programs are okay. HTH!

    H is in the army and we spelled all of the ranks out on the program and invites.  You can find all of the information on line if you google it.  H has a book that spells all of this out, it goes from what to wear, how to set tables and invites for Army funcations.  I would try looking for one of those books.  I use it a lot.


    Good luck and the last couple of months go by so fast.  Enjoy every minute of your day!

    I would play it safe and spell everything out - I know you're supposed to spell them out on your invites, not sure about programs. There are definitely helpful guidelines all over the internet! :)
