I'm an AW and I love that posts with my name on them get lots of attention.

On a serious note.. Today has sucked, but it has been made so much more tolerable because of you lovely ladies. Except Kendall.. she rarely makes anything better. In fact.. I can't think of a single time she's ever made anything better..

Also, I want to add that I am thankful to have had 9 years of legal drinking under my belt before I got pregnant and I had 7 years of living independently under my belt before I got married. This isn't a knock on Kendall. It's just me being thankful and being able to see how much my life kicks ass even though I haven't gotten pregnant yet.

FTL- where are you going? Or did I miss that?
  • edited December 2011
bahahah fire... I seriously would LOVE to do that as well! No joke! Unfortunately my gown is a little to big to really be appropriate for anything... Although the FIRST wedding dress that I bought is thin enough that it would work just fine!!... But it's DB=polyester.. so... that probably won't dye well :/

Crown- I've just mentioned it in passing in a couple threads. Tonight is H's squadron Christmas party. It's formal, but not PROM DRESS formal... cocktail attire works just fine.. I wish more women knew this.. lol.. Oh well I'm looking forward to seeing a see of tulle dresses :P hahaaa I'm a jerk...
The only thing that sucks is that H is the "host" (ie, MC) so I have to sit close to him, but we won't get to really enjoy the evening TOGETHER since he'll be talking and directing the whole time. Oh well, someone's gotta do it.

Truth. I love people watching at these things. Especially when the girls start getting drunker.. and drunker... and drunker....
At these things I have a 3 drink max rule, and for good reason! lol

Personally, I think it's more fun to be sober when everyone else is drunk because you can truly appreciate their idiocraty. It's more fun to be drunk when other people are sober because I'm not an idiot when I'm drunk, but if something were to happen, I could blame them for not being more responsible as the sober people... haha

FTL- Is it bad that I want pictures of innappropriately dressed drunk people just because it makes me feel better and/or pointing and laughing is fun (when it's something people have done to themselves)?

I didn't read this thread til now, and daaamn, what happened? Oh well, Hike, I think you're going to be an awesome Mom, and you're having an awesome life. And seriously, by the time I take a pregnancy test (and, yes, I've been paranoid), I've already been thinking about what the result might be for a few days, it's never been a whim, oh, let's see what happens, thing.

Oh Div! Thank you!! You just reminded me that I need to bring my camera. I'll do my best to be discrete while taking pictures of the tackyness :] haha.. I know that makes me an awful person, but I'm going to be sitting alone all night so I have an excuse that I have nothing better to do, right?? haha

bahaha fire you goofball. So true that it's much more fun to be sober and see everyone hammered. ESPECIALLY when there is a dancefloor involved. :P

    Oh LORD!!

    What is NEXT?!?!

Sort of reminds me of my friend who was oblivious about being pregnant. (Almost one of those " I didn't know I was pregnant senerios) She was visiting her parents for THanksgiving last year and her mom was like "You look pregnant" she denied it and made her take a test. It came out positive and she made an appointment to see the doctor, she was already 5 months pregnant..How? What? Why?

I mean, dont go asking if the military should pay for your wedding or claim you didn't know you were pregnant. Or lie to your closest family and friends about already being married. I'd say right now those are the big three. Poor grammar and punctuation tick us off too but whatevs, we can deal. Don't be scared!! Just jump in when you have something to ask or contribute and definitely hang out in a chat thread so we can get to know you and then start having all sorts of inappropriate inside jokes with you!!

You can just read some of Kendall's posts and see what I mean... Don't be scared, we really don't bite!!

Wow Samijoe you're popular haha! I knew I'd get a good laugh when I saw how many posts this thread had. I know I'm young to be getting married but I would never want a baby at this age. I know I wouldn't be able to provide the best for my children right now. FI and I are waiting at least 5 years. I couldn't imagine having a kid at 19.

This wasn't effing planned. I was back on birth control. I thought I was just stressed out from the wedding and thats why I was late but when it never came I took a test. If I was ever more than 3 days late I flipped out and took one. You can believe what you want. Unless you were there you don't know when I found out.

Apparently me leaving without saying anything caused Samijoe to hunt me down on facebook.

Military Brides December 2011 Siggy. Holiday picture with your SO. We suck and don't have one :/ Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter.

Kendall.... Sami was worried about you because as much as you annoy the crap out of all of us, you're a kid and still have a lot to learn, but you deserve to be happy and healthy. So when you disappeared, she wanted to make sure you were alright. Go sue her, right?

And sure, it "wasn't effing planned" this time, but you were trying not three months ago. So you were trying, didn't get pregnant, and started birth control again? And then got pregnant?

None of us care whether you knew three days, a month, whatever. You just have the most ridiculously dramatic situations, have the most ridiculously twisted and naive and immature view on things, and then tell us all "you don't know me!" which totally proves your point... not.

I think we'd all be VERY happy to see you come back here in 5 years, still married, and with a happy and healthy and well-adjusted kid and with a comfortable life and ideally a career that you're happy with and successful. But you have stacked the deck against yourself sooooo much that I'd say it's kind of a chance in hell that it will all work out for you, and that's sad. So I just want to smack my forehead whenever you continue to dig your hole deeper.
