I said Yes to the Dress!!!!! PIP

Oh. My. Gosh!!!

So, Brides across America was a success for me! I only tried on 3 dresses; one was hideous and I loved the other 2 (very different dresses). The decision ended up being made by the fact that the seamstress said that the lace dress would be really difficult to hem because of the way the lace was done. Since I was up in the air, I went with the other dress. I think it goes better with my theme, and I just love it!!! okay, pics.

and now, without further to do... MY DRESS

:D I am just BEYOND thrilled.

I was a busy bride today- I found invitations on clearance at walmart (I'm back and forth between which I want to use so I bought all of them, and I'll return the ones I don't use. ha!)

I looked at flowers, too... just to get a better idea. no pics though.

aaaaaaaaand I found a wedding band that I love with my ring (we've been having trouble finding one we like with my unique setting)..... so I have to show that to FI and see what he thinks..... I will have to find a link to show you ladies.

:D

I love the dress.  Is that a pin at the gathering?  I love that.  Glad it was a success.

Oh my goodness! That's so awesome! :) It really looks great, I like the trail a lot. Is it detachable? And kudos on being such a smart shopper! I had no idea that walmart actually carried wedding invites....of course I never looked >.> silly me...

I love your dress.  Is that a side train?  I looks like it in the first picture but not the second.  Very pretty regardless.  I can see why it was a tough choice between the two.

And congrats on the invites and wedding band!  Sounds like you've gotten a lot done.  That is exciting!

They're both beautiful gowns, but I do really love the one you picked!  Congrats on finding it from Brides Across America, too!

A side note, and this is not at all a criticism, but it drives me nuts that every time someone picks a dress, they quote that stupid show and say, "I said yes to the dress!"  It's a personal pet peeve, and I see it a lot (especially on my month board, as it seems everyone is buying their dress right now).

    Your dress is stunning.

I dunno if this will sway your decision on invites, but the square ones are going to be much more expensive to mail. (double what the 5x7 would be)

Congrats on the dress. You look beautiful in it!

I love the first invites too but like Shan said, square invites are expensive to mail so keep that in mind. We had 8x8 invites and they cost $1.50 to mail or something like that, not much but it adds up when you send 100 of them!

Yeah good call, we had squares and most were $0.88 but some were $1.08 with extra inserts so if you go that route don't overfill them!! :)

Yay!! That's so exciting! I love the dress you picked!! I love the invites too!! First ones are definitely my favorites but like the other ladies said, they will cost more to ship, which does add up. Congrats on getting so many things done!! And I'm so happy for you that you found your dress from the Brides Across America! Keep your eyes on the virginian pilot I heard they did a story today on it!
