including our child in the ceremony script?

My fiance and I already have a child together. He will be 1 year old at the time of our wedding and will be our ring bearer (the flower girl will pull him down the isle in a wagon). In addition to including him in our wedding in this way, I would like to include him in our ceremony script as well. Does anyone have any ideas of ways to do this? Or could you direct me to any sources? TIA!

To the OP, i found this message board because i'm also planning a wedding and i want to include my 3 year old (he'll be 4 at the wedding) ..... just based on these responses i don't think i'll continue looking online there's not much positive advice, only what NOT to do. that's not very helpful .... her question was how do include my child in the ceremony ... not SHOULD i include him. My son will be a very big part of my wedding day, he is the world my FI and i orbit he will be my ring bearer and i hope to have him apart of the ceremony in some way.  If we don't use a candle for unity i might consider having him help with the unity portion of the cermony..... since he IS apart of your unity!!!!
