I just bought this dress today for the wedding I'm going to in Pittsburgh.







Hike and Sammy is it fancy enough?

I have already agreed/decided to wear pearl earrings and necklace H got me since this is also our anniversary weekend.

I'm torn on shoes I have nothing in Navy- I was thinking hot pink or some form of color. I love color and this navy needs some help lol. Since this wedding is formal I want the added color to be classy so idk if hot pink shoes are gonna throw off my whole look.

Help I don't do fashion. Also the shoe heel can be no higher than 3 inches. I'll be bringing flip flops for back up.

Uh. I suck at this. Where's Irish, she usually has good ideas.

I would probably do nude shoes. But I can be boring sometimes.

Well... I like nude heels too...if you want to go safe

But, because Navy is a neutral you can really wear what kind of shoes you want (probably not black), I am known for my different colored heels. So I would probably wear a purple or fushia heel with it....  or if I didn't want my shoes to not draw so much attention.. I would wear my aqua heels....

But I love fun shoes...

I think it looks fancy enough.  It also looks like you'll probably stay cool which is always good. 

I'm terrible at accessorizing though.

ETA:  I'd wear pink, though if I had the choice.  I wore red with a navy dress once.  I think you can pretty much put any color with navy.

Totally nude, but I hoar out my nude shoes like.....a hoar. But I agree with Amanda, anything goes, especially if you're doing pearl jewelry. I'm telling you though, if you don't own nude pumps, you're doing yourself a disservice. F'real.

The sales rep said it was one of their BMs dresses which now has me nervous. I'm wondering if I should FB the bride and ask her what she went with just to be sure........

Nude or coral or yellow would be my go to. Or... OR.... Nude and coral or nude and yellow color block shoes. Omg shoegasm just thinking about it. When I get home I will shop for nude color block shoes now.
