I dislike going to class Paying $125 for a new textbook that was published later than it was supposed to Working out but I actually went last night! I walked for an hour on the treadmill with an incline and got 2.5 miles done. But my legs felt like jello haha

I dislike (although I feel is not a strong enough word for her) this co-worker who is the most evil person ever but will act nice to people's faces and kisses admin's ass. I feel like I'm in a horror movie constantly screaming that she is the killer and everyone thinks I'm crazy and no one believes me. Although I am not the only one who feels like this. There are many but no one else says anything.

I dislike that my car seems to always have a problem.

I dislike that I always run out of money just days after I get paid.

I dislike that my house has not yet learned to unpack itself, and that there are still boxes in my house.

I dislike the lackluster amount of cheese in the crust of my Digiorno personal stuffed crust pizza that i had for lunch.  I love stuffed crust so I was super excited to see these, but I'm thoroughly disappointed.

I dislike that my sweet puppy has the most sensitive stomach on earth. I'm not mad at him for it, but we go weeks just fine and I think maybe he can have a treat like a tiny piece of cheese, and it's messed up his stomach off and on for 2 days. It's my own fault, but I hate he can't have any sort of treat.

My mother trying to convince me to move the wedding to Texas in May and have a large at home reception for everyone in October. The hardest part to plan and pay for is the reception anyway, so why not just have it all at once. Am confused by lack of logic from a normally logical woman.

I also dislike Mayonnaise. It, just plain on a sandwich or burger, is so gross. But I love potato and chicken salads, generally using less mayo.

Yay for Vegas Cab! I am jealous! I dislike my H's schedule. Actually I kinda hate it. We cant celebrate Vday anymore, he'll be gone a lot soon and he wont be here for my birthday for the 4th time in a row now! I dislike soda, or really anything carbonated for that matter. I'll think of more!

Also, why do they call Wednesday "hump day" when most people get laid on the weekends?  Food for thought.

Speaking of which, I dislike the fact that the girl scouts changed the name of my favorite cookie to Caramel DeLites. That was stupid. They will always be Samoas to me.

You're offended that she dislikes mariachi bands?  I mean, I have family that play bagpipes, but I know it sounds like a dying cat to some people and they don't like it, but I don't take offense to it.  It's not like she was being racist - she doesn't like mariachi bands that play in her ear while she's eating at a restaurant. 

Not everyone speaks Spanish, so I don't really mind when someone misprounounces something.  At least she knows (presumably) what horchata is, which is more than most Americans that think Mexico (and really, all of Latin America, if they even know there's anything beyond Mexico) is made up of tacos, margaritas, sombreros and mariachi bands.

Besides, she was referencing how fast she was eating something, not the bands, so who really cares if it was a rather odd way of saying that?

I feel like you may have overreacted a bit, which surprises me since you've been around the boards for so long.

If you go to a Mexican resaurant, it's pretty much a given that there's going to be a mariachi band, so why should you be surprised that they're there playing? If it bothers you so much, then get your food to-go.

I don't complain about the polka band playing their accordians at the German biergarten restaurant I go to, because I know they play there.

And about the mispronunciation, if you're going to use a Spanish word, shouldn't you at least know how it's pronounced, thus avoiding embarassment?
