Danidawn: Thanks! And what a cute story! It actually reminded me a bit of how we got engaged. First we ate at a super fancy restaurant in Tokyo, on the 52nd floor. H had taken me dress shopping earlier in the day, then after dinner he took me to the park right across the street. I kind of started walking ahead and realized he wasn't with me anymore, so I looked back and there he was on his knees. I was so shocked! lol I even had to tell him to ask me again because I rambled on the first time. What chronic illness do you have? What's your FI's MOS in the army and his base? How are your wedding plans coming along?

Hi ladies. I feel slighly drunk and all I had was one serving of Robitussin.. I got sucked into HSN for the past hour. I don't know what it is about that channel but they make me want to buy that hidious shirt.  I'm also watching OkieState/IowaState football. Oiiii OSU better step it up, they look pretty bad. There was actually a play where OSU tackled their own player on the kick return. Um... wrong guy.

</div><div>My illness is NF (nuerofibirmatosis). It is a degenerative tumor disease. Tumors attack your body, an no matter what is done to get rid of them, they always come back.  For me, they attacked my immune system at a very young age, causing my immune system to bassically fail if I am around too much germs.  They also have attacked  me in the place where my optic nerve connects to my brain, for that there is no surgery- just the drugs they can give you. Dani: I am so sorry if I made you have to type out about all that. I have heard of it before, it's a tough situation but it seems to me that you have a very good head on your shoulders and that you are a tough woman! Also, don't be hard on yourself, I am sure you FI loves you very much and want to be with you just as much! what branch is he transferring too? You're not giving too much away. There's no names or dates or bases.

I finally got the energy to bake the damn cookies and I get all the way to where I'm about to put them on the cookie sheet and I think to myself.. hmm.. This doesn't seem dense enough... strange.. I go back to look at the recipe. yeah.. 1 CUP pumpkin.. I put in 1 CAN. 

Fail.

Dani: it was probably from one of my biology or anatomy classes before. Hopefully your FI decides on something great and what would be right for him. Is he planning on going career? What kind of wedding are you 2 having? Shan: have some for me too! I'm in bed now.

DanniDawn that's what I was making.. I have a great recipe for them, I just.. totally blanked.. idk what I was thinking.. It's been a year since I've made them and I was distracted... *fail* oh well.. I have 4 other desserts I'm making for Sunday so no cookies will suffice. :P

Kara- he is going career. His dad was a career until he past away. Since Fi's dad past when he was barely 9, Fi wants to do what he can to be close to him. I think it's sweet.

My wedding is going to be very elegant. It is a Friday night wedding. I have a ball gown, and the BMs are in long black dresses. (thankfully it doesn't get too warm here in June) The Men will be in black tuxes.  My flowers are peonies (I love them.) they will be in hot pink, pink and white. Actually, this picture is what I am using as an ispiration for my wedding.

Dani: I think that's a very sweet thing for your FI to do, but does he also like doing what he does or is it just for his father? Your wedding colors are bery beautiful! I would have love to have a touch of plum or even some pink, but when we started planning, H's only rule was he better not see pink or purple anywhere! lol Do you have a picture in your dress? I love wedding porn!

Hi everyone!  I just finished packing for tomorrow, and am now waiting for my dough to rise to make a stomboli for dinner.  I have been in a hard cider mood lately, so that's what I'm drinking tonight.

hahaha Kara, I'm pretty sure if I wanted pink for purple H would have said NO as well ) I'm a bit of a tomboy though so they weren't of interest to me. I love plum in wedding colors though.. It's so deep and rich. 

Of course you can see the recipe I use! (I like it because there's no butter in it.. and I HATE messing with butter.. stupid stuff takes forever to soften -_-

FTL- no pics of my in it (don't want FI to find them), here is a model in it (clicky) and I will show all my peonie pictures when I get them. Thankfully they are inseason here for me in June, and they are very cheap. My boquoet will be peonies and around only $100.

Thank you for the recipe, I'm excited to try them. Wow it's almost 11 here. I don't think I've stayed up past 10 since I started student teaching back in August.

Well I just checked the weather Beach, and it will be nice starting Sunday! In the high 60s. The weather here has been so bipolar, soo cold the past few days. Ftl: I really wanted that plum color!my florist did put some pink/red in our arrangements, stargazer lily, my favorite flower so H couldn't say no. LOL

Dani: you're gown is absolutely gorgeous!!! Love it! What would you like to know? My H is Navy and has been stationed in Japan for the past 3 years. We recently PCSed to VA and getting used to life here. We have no babies nor furbabies either but I do love them!

awwww booo! That's lame kara.. 

I know what you mean though.. I had H pick up my bridal bouquet from the florist.. It was to be all yellow tulips with some irises in the middle. Pretty and simple. 

And then H saw it ... and freaked because the irises weren't blue, they were purple (duh.. that is "blue" in iris world) and had my aunt "fix it" which made it turn out ... horribly. lol!! Poor guy was trying to help.. but he got all anal with colors aaaaand yeeeeahh.. haha

Dani I'm happy you're picking up your activeness on this board :] It's always nice to have more BRIDES on here. Most of us are old married hags now haha kidding.. but I like getting to ogle over wedding stuff. :]
