Color Theme for Military Wedding

Hello!

I wanted to get some opinions from fellow military brides-to-be about the color scheme I had in mind for the wedding. My fiance and his groomsmen will be wearing Army officer formal uniforms (not sure if I know the official name... but the dark navy-colored ones). Since it's going to be a Spring wedding, I wanted a lighter palette that would still be complementary and would go along with vintage accents/decor nicely.

So I'm thinking:

Pale Tiffany-toned blue/aqua, antique gold, ivory, and splashes of peachy pink from the floral decor. 

Does that look okay when you envision it? And is anyone else trying to coordinate with their military wedding participants? hehe

That sounds like it would be beautiful. The stance around here is that anything will match the uniform, that's the beauty of the uniform, so pick what you think is gorgeous and it will look good no matter what :)

I think that sounds beautiful Choose whatever colors you like. Like Ggirl said, anything will match the uniform, so you don't need to pick colors that match exactly. For our wedding, FI is wearing his dress blues. We chose coral and white as our colors. Technically, they don't match his dress blues at all, but I LOVE that color scheme for an outdoor July wedding

Really pretty color choices!

Sounds really pretty.  Like others have said you don't match the uniform as it goes with everything.  To me matching the uniform would be like matching a tux.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm so glad because I really love those colors. I asked because I did realize that some weddings coordinated the groom's tie/boutonniere with the decor which also looks really cute.
