Ts and Ps for the new doggie

So I took Ike to the vet for his initial check up. He had a growth on his leg that started bleeding because he and Geno were playing rough.

The vet took some blood on a slide and is worried by it. She is thinking it could be an easy to remove tumor called a Histiocytoma but she said she saw "angry" cells she couldn't identify.

At that point, all of her words blend together so I'm not really sure how worried she is.

We have some medicine to give him and in two weeks, if it doesn't shrink, we have to go back to see if it is cancer. I'm really scared. We've only had him one week and I can't stop crying.

I don't normally ask for thoughts and prayers but if you could think of the little guy, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hang in there and I'll think good thoughts! Sounds like your puppy could use a break or two! She won't know anything until she gets the labs back. It is rather irresponsible of her to worry you when there is no info yet. As you may remember, I alluded to some scary test results I was waiting on. The doctor made it sound like it was either going to be "bad" or "worse". I was panicked for weeks, only to find out the test results were fine, all good, and she apologized for scaring me. These things happen all the time, and hopefully it's a simple easy-to-fix issue!

aww I hope all turns out ok.  I hate when Dr's,  Vets or who ever say that before really knowing anything other then suspicious. Sorry you are going through this.
