Things I Like

We did "things I don't like," and "things I don't get," so here, have some positivity on a Friday morning.  :)

Things I Like:

Lazy weekend mornings when I get to sleep in.
A good, hard spin session, or generally any time I get to ride my bike.
Good craic.
The way my FI makes anything hilarious and how he makes just hanging out together to be so much fun.
Wine.  Winey wine wine.
My cats.  Even if the little one is codependent and doesn't let me sleep.

What do you like?

Not dumb. Here is the "formal" description

Pluff mud is a lowcountry term to describe the dark soft soil in the marshes. Pluff mud typically has a distinct odor that is the result of some combination of bacteria, water content and climate.

It basically is the mud found in the marshes to me it is the most beautiful smell in the world.

To me pluff mud does not smell like sulfur.  HAAA Perhaps to others.  :)

Boiled peanuts are a southern way of life.  Well to me any way.  They are green peanuts that are bolied for hours, we are talking like 6 or more hours with just salt and water.  They end up being soft so some people do not like them because they are more like a chick pea and it is hard for them to get pass that.  They are fablous with beer because of the salt.  You boil them in their shell and will crack the shell and eat them like that.  Oh and you have to suck the water (which has turned to salt water) out of the peanut before shelling them.
  • Crown-My Mom loves boiled peanuts. I try to get her some whenever she's down South, they just don't have those things in Utah.

No they don't.  I worked in the midwest for a few years and let me tell you that every time I was home I would get green peanuts to take back with me to boil and then freeze.  Then I found a place in GA that would ship them to me.  HAAA I am just slightly obsessed.

The Disney Cruise I went on had an entire night dedicated to Disney Villians! We didn't go to the stage show cause it had been a long day and we had an early morning planned, but everything about the ship that day was focused on the villians. You would have loved it!

Yeah those are good too.  If we are making a lot of them we do two big pots (turkey frying pots) and one is just salt and one is cajun.

Are you Irish???????  Because that would make me smile!  My Dad was born in Dublin, and I definitely heard the word "craic" a lot growing up - enough that I was a bit confused about the street drug! Haha

Microbrew beer.  Especially hoppy beers with delicious flavor notes.

Food.  Mostly things that are bad for me.

Pole dancing classes. I push myself harder than a typical workout, I get in good shape fast, I feel really good about my body and confident, and I have so much fun!

Cooking.  Especially when someone else does the dishes and pays for ingredients!

Graphic design.  It makes me happy.

Painting.  I can lose myself in painting for many hours at a time and am usually pretty happy with the result.

Reading all night and waking up and reading some more!  I want to bring a suitcase of books on our honeymoon cuz FI is the same way!
