Military Brides

Hello all!

I've been lurking on this board for a while now, and decided it was time to say hi to everyone!  FI and I are getting married in December shortly after he commissions. I am so excited to marry my best friend =)

Are there any books you'd recommend for me to read about being an Army wife?  Or on Military life in general?  I've learned so much from you ladies already!  Thanks...it really helps to know that there's a support network out there.

Welcome to the board! All the books I have read are about being in, not being a dependant, but I've heard good things about

I hate that it's pink, but I've heard it's got good info.

Oh, I had never even thought that there might be books out there about being a military wife. How interesting! I'm going to start on these right away.

@Irh17: If you're looking for a reading buddy, let me know which book you start on and we can read and discuss. I haven't had anyone to discuss good books with in ages. Haha, just putting the idea out there, sorry if it's out of left field.

Thank you for your suggestions ladies...I'll look into these!

SamiJoe - I do love to read!  It's been a while since I've had time to read for pleasure since school sucks up a ton of my time...but I thought this would be a great opportunity to get back into it, especially over the summer.

Jesssull - I'll let you know what I decide on.  And if you start one before I get back to you let me know!
