Ugh not long enough. It's dark and cold out and I don't want to go to work!! H and I spent two hours at Verizon getting him a new phone, and we still have to jump through some AT&T hoops today to get it all squared away. Bleh. But we made delicious Korean BBQ tacos for dinner!

I spent most of my weekend curled up on the couch with the sniffles. When not on the couch, I was working. At least on Saturday night after I put the kiddos to bed, I got to watch my Badgers beat Michigan! On to the Rose Bowl baby!!

MIne was pretty good. We went and cut our own tree, decorated, and when after I unplugged it last night Mr. Huck decided that the tree looked good for climbing. I had just started walking towards the bedroom, literally just turned around when I hear, "CRASH, glug glug glug." Water and ornaments everywhere. I got it propped back up (much much cursing, woke up FI), and we're going to re-do it tonight. Got Christmas gifts done for My Mom, FI's Mom and FBIL. Halfway through.

Did anyone else watch "The Virgin Diaries"? It was so so much more awkward than I imagined. I do not have a problem with religious beliefs or wanting to stay a virgin, but, seriously, doing the whole "I wanted to be married and start having kids by the time I was 25, oh by the way I'm 30 now, and I'm a virgin and I really want to have sex but I want to be married," on the very first date before you've even had salads is a turn-off no matter what. Just let the conversations flow.

I agree with Irish - not long enough. We did most of the Christmas shopping and put up our tree. I ended up gettiing like 1 thing on my wedding list done. Epic fail. So that'll be my goal this week is to get that list done on top of work.

My weekend was lazy, but I'm totally THRILLED that I have about 3 months less in Miami!  And I've already found a summer job back home near my parents (I have to interview, but I'm pretty sure it's a done deal already).  So yeah, I'm a pretty happy girl today.  I just need to get 10 more paychecks, and then I can quit.  Not so bad, right?

    This was a crazy weekend.

I went hunting on Saturday morning.  Didn't see anything.  Then went to a baby shower.  It was fun.  Then went to my work Christmas party.  The doctors kept buying me drinks.  It was dangerous so I left and came home.

I woke up Sunday morning feeling pretty crappy.  I assumed it was just a hangover, but it lasted literally all day, so I'm pretty positive I have the flu.  I called in sick today because of it.  I'm definitely feeling better today than yesterday.

Not the best weekend I've ever had.

Not nearly long enough!!  I think I got sick from the parade because it was so cold outside, but I got so hot, and woke up on Saturday and Sunday feeling like crap... my lymph nodes are ridiculously swollen.

On a super exciting note: THE TIDE IS GOING TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! Also, I take my last computer test today!! I haven't studied, but it's about virus protection and stuff, and we get to use our book for 20 minutes, so I think I'll probably be okay. It's the last full week of the semester!!!

Oh oh! Listen to this crap. I upgraded my iPhone to OS 5.0 without realizing that about 90% of my apps aren't compatible with the new version and I'll need to REDOWNLOAD them! And I can't remember half of them. Bah! So recommend your fav apps! Maybe I can experience some new funness in the midst of my annoyance. Smile

Hey all!!! My weekend was really great.  I ran in the Reindeer Run this past weekend.  This is a really fun race and has become a holiday tradition for us.  I did manage to do something to my knee while running but that did not stop me from taking part in the best house dance party ever.  My friend's boyfriend pulled out some glow sticks that he has on his boat and that made for a pretty awsome treat for not only the kids but the adults too.

The only thing not fun about the weekend is that both Tigers won.  LS-Phew and Clem-suck.  I was cheering hard for the Dawgs  but they could not get it together.  Glad H is so far ahead in time that he didn't have to see that total meltdown.

So my bowls are set!  I will be sad when the season is over!

    Hi ladies!

Sami: I hope you feel better! Also, I think I read somewhere that Pan Am is getting the ax. Do you know this yet?

I had a good weekend, although it was short since H had duty yesterday and I won't see him until this afternoon. We didn't do anything Friday night, just stayed home. On Saturday, we went to the outlets at Williamsburg(it was his idea surprisingly!), I found a few good deals(Hello $12 jeans from Levi's!) then we spent the rest of the day/night at Busch Gardens. They are doing Christmastown and the decor were so beautiful! I loved it. Yesterday, I just stayed in and worked on our Christmas cards and wrapping presents.

Hi! I had a nice weekend. Friday was a night on the town in beaufort, basically they lit the Xmas tree and all the shops were open late. I went down with friends of mine and has fun. Saturday I went to savannah for some drinks with a friend. Sunday was a lazy day, I shopped online for Xmas gifts and made turkey chili. I was able to talk to H a lot this weekend since they passed the inspection and he now has time to go main side after work. I'm ready for Friday to get here. Its my work Xmas party and I am basically only working from 12 to 2, when I'm at the party. So Thursday is basically my friday yayyyy!

[QUOTE]LOL CAB!!!! my weekend was alright- relatively productive. I got through about 65 percent of my studying for my test that is this Friday. I'm trying to gear up to do the rest now; then it's mostly review. Definitely can use all the T and P out there to get through the next few months.... it's overwhelming the amount of stuff I'm trying to remember. lol I packed a few boxes at home and rode my horse; I also got most of my Christmas shopping done in a few hours Saturday evening with my sister.... except I still don't really know what to do about FI. I asked him what he wanted to do (as far as gifting, etc, since we're paying for our own wedding and obviously weddings aren't cheap!) and his answer? "well, if you find me something that you want to get me, even if it's a little pricey I'm sure it'll be fine, we can cover it in the budget... but if you don't want to get me anything big, I'm totally cool with that... but let's just say I've had your Christmas stuff in the works for quite some time now"..... um, what does that mean?! haha. I should ask him what dollar range he's working in! Seriously though- he cracks me up. He is so forgetful about some of the common (but important) every day things- but other things he plans ridiculously far in advance. It's cute.

We've learned the hard way, give each other a budget and stick with it. It seriously helps so much, I always hated that 'what if I didnt spend enough' feeling, and this completely helped that. This year our budget is $200. Makes it pretty easy :)

Hello beauties! I had a really busy weekend, it's down to the wire, and we have so much to do still! Our biggest projects left are the pom making (not PORN making! LOL!) and the runner.
Ok, so funny story: we have these really cute menus, that are brown paper bags, and they hold salt and pepper packets, a mint, hand wipes, and a BBQ bib. We couldn't think of what to have stamped onto the bibs (our logo would have been too complicated to make into a stamp) so my sister came up with this:

Cute, right? Little chicken and cow, in love! Except, chickens and cows are both females. Epic wedding FAIL, guys!!! LOL!!!! So, we are just saying that we just love eating chickens and cows, and the chicken and cow do NOT represent us! LMAO so funny!
