Hey hey! When we move, I'm going to be switching over to Verizon. Right now I have an old, old iPhone. All it does is text and call. It doesn't even make sound. I can also see Facebook but it's super slow. I want a new phone but I don't necessarily need all the bells and whistles that an iPhone has. I'd like to be able to call, text, check email, go on Facebook, and go online. Any recs?

I have a Droid X through Verizon. I really like it because I have the option of touch-screen or slide-out keyboard. I can call, text, check my e-mail, facebook, and go online! And of course, download other wanted apps!

I've had the Droid X, and recently switched over to the iPhone. I liked both, but with Droids, you can do more online. My only issue with it is that it started acting wonky on me after 6 months, which has happened with other Droid phones I've had (like the Google phone). So far, my iPhone has been pretty cool. I did not get the 4s, however, because I refused to pay $100 extra dollars to get some voice recognition stuff, which came standard on my Droid, and I never used it in the first place.

OH! And the free GPS feature on Droids are wayyyyy better than the one on the iPhone.

So do you mind me asking how much you pay per month?

Not at all. I pay $93 a month, 300 mins. with mobile to mobile, unlimited data (Grandfathered into that one with Verizon since I was with them before the change,) unlimited text. I paid the same with both phones.

That's my problem. The unlimited data. We are grandfathered in AT&T but not Verizon.
