    YAYY BILLS!! H and I were listening to the game on his phone today!!

    I did not invest in the NFL package this year unfortunately, but I did invest in NHL Gamecenter live, so at least I can watch the Sabres!

    Haha yes that is a Bills jersey!  H and I had season tickets before we moved.  I soo wish we would have been at that game today!

    Today was tough because I of course wanted the Bills to win, but Brady is my QB in my big fantasy league.  It worked out pretty well though since it was a high scoring game that the Bills won.

    Ggirl I know it sucks not getting the games. DirecTV was sooo expensive to get without even the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket, so we didn't get it.  We do get NFL Red Zone though which shows us ever scoring play from around the league.  We at least get to see every scoring play, and it's pretty nice to have for fantasy.

    I don't even want to talk about direct tv. H is a Pittsburgh sports nut. We get the MLB, NHL, and the NFL. It's insane. BUT I'm a Pittsburgh fan too so I like it sometimes.

    Yeah, I'm a bigger hockey fan than football so I wanted NHL Gamecenter. Our cable company sucks down here so we couldn't get NHL Center Ice through them, luckily we have a PS3 so we could do it that way. That is one thing I wasn't sacrificing.


    Although, I realized today that since I moved from Buffalo, both teams are doing well. (Sabres are only preseason but still). So my logical conclusion is that I have been the jinx on Buffalo teams.

    Haha Ggirl maybe you were the curse.  I'm definitely excited about how the Bills are doing, but still know that there is plenty of season left.  I remember 2 seasons ago when they started out 4-0 and then ended up I think 5-11 overall.  But they are definitely looking like a better team, and I'm super pumped about them beating the Patriots finally!

    It's definitely tough not getting either Sabres or Bills games, but we have learned to manage.  We listen online a lot to Sabres games, and during playoffs we went to Boston Pizza at our corner to watch the games since they had the Center Ice package.

    We cancelled our cable back in February, and so we don't get any games except Dolphins or playoffs on ABC/NBC/Fox (which we still get).  So we drove an hour to a New England bar today.  Which was super fun, except for.. you know... the loss.

    I do find it funny how so many people are anti-Pats on Facebook.  No comments about, "Yay Bills!"  but dozens about "Suck it Pats".  I am all about rooting on your team, but the constant Pats-hatred just is classic hating on the leader.  The season is ours to lose, and everyone else's to win.  That's not to say they'll win, but that everyone views the Pats as the 'team to beat'.  I'm okay with that.  The haters gonna hate.

    Anyway, I felt bad for the Colts - they were all set to have a great season, and they Peyton has his neck fused.  Gotta say, I'm loving see Cam Newton come into his own though.  It's the 10th anniversary of when Brady took over for Bledsoe, and it's ringing very familiar.  Hope Peyton still has a job when he comes back!

    I'm always scared of the colts too. I have hatred for the colts, the pats( Brady specifically), and the ravens... And the browns and bengals but they haven't been as good lately. Everyone in DC HaTE steeled fans because there are so many of us here. I teach with 7 other teachers, 6 out of the 8 of us are from western PA.

    Yeah probably his records, or maybe as the most standout rookie or something.  Kerry Collins has been in for Manning and he's pretty horrible.

    Yep, now that I'm reading ESPN, I'm seeing that I was mistaken... apparently he has the best starting game, two games, and now three games for a rookie QB ever.  He took that title from Peyton Manning.  That's where I got confused.

    I do know that my Dad had Peyton as his starting QB for his fantasy team, and I made him change it to Cam Newton.  And he's darned glad he did!
