We are cleared for take-off!

Have the plane ticket, and picked up my cat's rabies clearance form and sedatives for the plane today! All that's left to do is finish boxing up and get boxes in the mail. By the end of the month I'll be in sunny (ridiculously hot, wretchedly humid) Florida! On a slightly sad note, I'm kind of upset to be leaving my Mom. We hadn't lived togehter in almost 10 years before this, but we get along so much better now... God, I'm actually tearing up writing about it.
Ok, enough of that. I have my last job tomorrow. My "real job" last day was Friday, but I've been making extra money by dogsitting for friends and church people, and my last dogsit is tomorrow for my favorite customers. They're really good friends of my Mom and her husband, so they not only pay me really well, but they're totally pumped to get FI and I set up with a dog when we're ready. They also have this awesome house that was built by a Playboy photographer in the 60s. So I'll be staying over there for a few days (one downside, no interwebs). They have 5 (5!) Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so it's always a good time. I'm totally taking pics.
Anyway, please excuse the ramble, but hope everyone has a fantabulous weekend and look forward to talking to you all when I'm back online.

Good luck! I myself landed in London early this morning, and am feeling the jet lag. Despite 5 hours of sleep on the plane! Have a wonderful week, ladies, as I'm sure I'll be on only sporadically!

Divine- I forget where you're moving, can you remind me? You sound in great spirits though! You don't sound nervous at all! I understand the mom thing. We live 4 hours away from one another and I'll still be super sad to move to Georgia. I'm a daddy's girl and will bawl my eyes out when I say bye to him... even though we only see each other once every 2 months anyway!

Cal- How is London? Do you get to sight see at all? Come back and tell us how it goes!

Aww! Do they have one in every color? My girl Missy is Black and Tan, we have King Charles play dates, and it seems like other owners we meet always have multiple. Most I have seen are pretty hard core :-p But I have to admit they are my favorite too.

Cal- Have a fantastic time in London, it's expensive but so awesome! Hope you get a little time to yourself to sight-see and what-not. You're there for a job interview (?), if you, absolutely best of luck!
LetsHike-I'm moving to Pensacola,FL. I'm within 2 weeks of it now and it's all becoming very real.
Shan-These people are incredibly hard-core, but sweet. They have 4 Blenheims and 1 Parti. We went to our playgroup yesterday with my Mom's cav, it's so cute to see them all run around.
Sami- I sometimes feel like if I could make a living dog-sitting, I'd just do that.
    Have a great week guys!

Job training - already got the job, now need to learn how to do it properly!  Mostly their computer systems and processes - it's their first US office, so they want us to maintain the continuity of the brand they've built up over here.  So my boss and I were both shipped over for training.  Woo hoo!

I'm stocking up on British candy, which makes me smile.  Tonight I'm going out for Indian food, and then a beer (since my boss who I'm traveling with doesn't drink, I'll drink alone)!

Sami - you may or may not be getting some British candy in your mailbox in about 2 weeks.  Just sayin'... and no, I'm not shipping it from London.  I'm carrying it back and shipping it USPS so it's cheaper!  But it'll still taste as good, promise!  Let me know when you get those books!  I literally packed the same box you sent me with all my favorite trashy romance novels.
