Ohh!! Irish! That's the advice I always give the ladies at Curves.  Drink water and wait 15 minutes, or brush your teeth wait 15, drink water, wait 15, then if you still want it.. Girl you've earned it. 

Another Confession: My mom and I totally put our tree up today!! I mean it is decorated and everything!! It's gone a long way for putting me in the Christmas Spirit!!

Shan, I'm sorry you're missing your H! Big virtual hugs. You are one strong cookie (no, don't EAT a cookie!) and I know it'll get easier. Obviously I have no experience, but just sending happy low-calorie vibes to you. Stan, that cracks me up that you "got your friend pregnant" though it totally makes sense! Hike, I bet Stan is right about TN being a good place for that kind of talk. It's less about babies than TB, but the are a tight knit group like us. I've tried going over a few times and always plan to stay, but to be honest the format of posting confuses me - I don't know how to sort the posts, and quoting is weird to me. Probably takes some getting used to!

Jealous! I can't wait to have a house. People in our apartment building are already annoying me. I've put in 2 noise complaints to the people above us and nothing. Also we keep getting called to be used as a show unit and I don't know how to say no. My property manager is one of my clients at our newspaper for advertising so I don't really know how to say no :/

I have that same problem.  I always feel guilted into saying yes for things. Maybe you could agree but with like 24 hour notice?

They are actually good about giving 24 hr notice. I've been really happy with them and FI and I are gonna stay here for the next 2 years as well it's just annoying they keep asking us. I wanna say something to Todd the property manager about the people above us but I probably shouldn't do it on a tour when he's trying to get a lease haha

Cal, if you go to the bottom of MN, you pick sorting and choose last post date and apply, as opposed to original post date. That way it stays live.  Also, they like intros there!

Shan a ban - I'm the same! I had Carl's Jr. Friday and Papa John's Saturday. I'm so grumpy at myself. But I haven't talked to H in a few days, so I'm just feeling grumpy, which I'm trying to negate with yummy food.

I just got here! I am so freaking sick and have been sick ALL WEEKEND. You would think that being home from work would mean me TKing all day long, but, nope, I slept and puked and slept. Sorry, I know, TMI. Oh Hey! Here's my vent! Yay! I participated! LOL

You know what is so funny though, my WHOLE department called out today! Even boss man. We're a bunch of slackers, I tell ya.

Oof CAB, sorry to hear you're not feeling well!  At least no one's going to think you're being a drama queen if EVERYONE called out!  My job is super understanding about that stuff, but my last job wasn't so much, and the one before that not at all - I had H1N1 at that one and had a 103 degree fever and wanted to leave 2 hours early to go to a doctor and they wouldn't let me! 

Sounds like something is going around.

Well it's nice reading through these and trying to catch up. Things have been crazy lately, and I most recently do not have a cake. It's been a fun weekend/week so far to say the least.

Hike-if you don't mind me asking, what type of test did you take? You can order some online that can detect the same low levels that the doctor's office does, they are actually way cheaper than store bought ones and detect the lower levels=knowing sooner.

I posted on the local board yesterday looking for some help(Clicky). The family friend who was going to make it for $200 quoted us $350 after getting final details. The thing is, it's a simple design and no details realliy, AND she's really considered an amatuer(at least that's the category she entered in the last contest she did). So, not worth $350-not in that area at least. My coordinator is working some things and my parents are calling all sorts of people but at this moment, I do not have anyone to make our cake.  

On a positive note, I just found out our DJ is bringing lights at no extra charge :-)
