Groomsmen's attire! Need Guidance!

Okay, we have predominantly Army wedding party, but FI's brothers aren't. How do I blend the look of Dress Blues with tuxes? Is there a better solution?

<div>Military dress uniforms are the equivalent of a tux, so if you will be having a mix of uniforms and civilian attire, then that is your best bet.  Military uniforms are meant to match everything, so you don't have to worry about picking colors that go with them, but many couples do anyways.  You can pick colors that are highlighted in the uniforms to use as your wedding colors, then the BM dresses and the tux accents can be in that color.</div>

Personally, I would go with a tux that has a matte look to the lapel rather than the glossiness of silk.  Other than that, I say tux and agree you can pick any color you want.  I think a lot of couples do yellows with the Army blues.

We had mostly military groomsmen however one of them was not in the military and he wore a black suit (tux like), white shirt and bowtie.  The guys in the uniforms didn't wear the boutonniere clearly since they can't put anything on the uniform but I did get one for the guys that were not in uniform.  That way they looked a part of the wedding party.

We picked tuxes to go with the usher's and H in his AF Mess Dress. H and his guys picked white and personally I was more concerned it would clash with my off white dress then H's mess dress. In the end it worked well (depending on who you ask. My Mom hated it and still hates it in pictures)

Like Beach said, Dress uniforms are the equivalent of a tux so that would be your best bet...

Thanks ladies, still have some concerns over color clashing, but I'm starting to see it!
