Military Brides

I have a theory

My theory is when a group of women come together, drama usually follows.  After reading some of the posts on several different boards today, I'm going to have to say it might be true for the Internet as well.

To be fair though, a lot of things get misconstrued since we read words and put whatever meaning we want to instead of the implied meaning sometimes.  And we're all under stress from wedding planning and life so snapping happens.

Just a disclamer:  I don't think all women are dramafilled and I don't think all groups of women are dramafilled.  I think men are just as guilty (especially on a submarine) but I thought this was really good way to sum up the drama filled day on theknot.

Just a funny observation I had. It didn't have a point.  Even though if I did have a point, you definitely proved it. Haha.

I mean, I get what your saying. It was totally random though, SJ.  That's usually why I lurk on a board before I post on it (or I tell newbs to lurk) because random posts talking about drama, when I don't think anyone of us really thought this was a drama-filled day, are generally ill received.  It takes a while to really get the "tone" of a board. Like I said earlier. We are a super friendly bunch, but at the same time we are sometimes brutally honest. But regular posters know that even if we are blunt/harsh with newbs, or even each other, the newbs will either apologize for flying off the handle or whatever, or with each other, we'll just get over it.  I've met amazing women on this board, and there were some who made me so angry I was in tears. The annoying ones usually leave, The amazing ones stick around.

Trust me, if you thought today was dramatic on this board.. You should have been here a month ago. Ah.. Good times.

Yeaaa I'm confused about this post.  And even though we are on the internet, the group of regulars on this board DO understand each others tone for the most part even just by reading it.  The people that misconstrue it tend to be newbs because A) they don't know us B) they are set in whatever idea they have and only want to hear the advice that goes along with whatever idea they have and don't care to hear any constructive criticism.
