No tattoos for me. I ALMOST got the word Imagine on my foot due to my crazy love of John Lennon but didn't.

    aww that's actually really cute.
I have a cross on my back that I got after finishing reading the Bible for fun... I want to add different religious symbols as I study each religion :)

No tattoos yet..I haven't found anything to put on my body permanently. I really like the yellow ribbon one though, I've never thought of something like that!

That's a cool idea! Yeah my FI just got deployed like 2 1/2 weeks before and I moved to college. Two days after being out there I got my belly button pierced (always wanted to but parents against it) then 2 days later I got this tattoo. One of my friends was getting another and I've wanted mine for a while so I was like what the hell let's do it lol

not yet but I am getting some soon. the first one will say "live life to the fullest and smile always." with a purple tiger lily. and the second one will be a yellow ribbon with one end longer than the other and the longer end will shape a heart.

When we have kids I want a foot and a hand print on each shoulder. (We want 2 kids) and in between I want the words "The world is yours." the prints will be either pink or blue

Thanks! haha I think I am too old for the belly button thing.. Or maybe that's my excuse because I don't like my abs enough yet to show them one via one :o)

Thanks Hike! I love reading the history of religions and military history. Religions I thought would be cool to add on my back, just because you would be surprised how judged you get for having something religious on your body.. it's interesting... I'm too laid back to care honestly... I kind of enjoy that aspect for the scientific observation of it all. haha

Oh good question :) I have 3. One is the Spanish word for dream on my hip, one is a latin phrase meaning "Ready for anything" on the inside arch of my left foot, and one is some design on my back that I don't particularly like, but I got it to cover up another one (the first one was really cute, a little design with 5 stars, but apparently the guy was drunk or high or something when he did it because he absolutely destroyed it...that's what I get for going to a tattoo guy that was recommended by my brother, not someone that I knew personally..oops :/ ) I really like the yellow ribbon ideas and the cross...very cute :)

No tattoos for me. I am petrified of needles! I have to do deep breathing exercises before I go to the doctor...  :) Plus, I haven't found anything I want inked on to my body permanently.

FTL: That's an awesome tattoo idea!

You're not too old! I was 22 when I got mine..I plan to take it out when I have kids or when I feel like it's inappropriate for my age. But for me, it's a confidence thing, I finally feel good enough about my body to have it, and no one sees it unless I'm in a bikini or lounging with FI ;)

I have one on my hip that I got in high school.  I don't have any pictures of it, but it looks like this, except mine is just outlined black and the inside is an aqua color.

None for me. It's one of those things I find hot on other people, but one of the few things I have going for me is really pretty pale skin, and I think FI would be very upset if I got something that messed that up. And I'd probably hate it within weeks.

I have a pink ribbon on my ankle. My mom has the same one on her ankle. We got them on Mother's Day 2006, 2 weeks after we found out her breast cancer was in remission. I also have "la bella vita" tattooed on my hip because when I was little my grandpa always spoke in Italian to me and was constantly saying it. It reminds me that my life is beautiful, regardless of what is happening.

I still want a locket on my food with my grandpa's portrait inside it with the quote "the ones who love us never really leave us" somewhere in it. (And yes, it's a Harry Potter quote.)

No tattoos for me...yet anyway... I debated getting one for a long time, and FI is trying to talk me into matching tattoos on our hips (he's addicted now that he got his first a few weeks ago).

I'm still not sure I want it, but if I got one, it would be a hybrid of a claddaugh, sort of like this:

Two for me!  A swallow on my hip that I got right after I turned 18, and an anchor with nautical stars on my rib cage.  The anchor hurt really bad, plus it's huge so.. I'll post a picture later.. when I'm not at work and it would be more appropriate for me to take my shirt offTongue out

I have two. One that I hate and 1 that I love. I have one on my back of 3 horseshoes that I hate - the artist did a horrible job and I want it removed. and I have an anchor on my hip bone. I don't have a picture up at the moment of it.

Do temporary tattoos count? LOL this just brought back a memory.  My friends thought it would be funny to do temporary tattoo sleeves.  I guess that's what a little alcohol plus boredom equals.  So I had a pretty sweet tattoo sleeve for a few days.  It was completely random.  I used to work at a motrocycle shop and I showed up to work with the sleeve and several customers thought it was real!
Idk if anyone else thinks this is funny, but just had to share
