Freeze and slice cookie recipes?

Or something equally easy? I signed up for a cookie swap in two weekends and realized its a bazillion cookies I have to make....so I'm thinking of something I can make ahead of time, freeze in logs and slice and bake them the day of or night before. I'm scanning Pinterest but can't find anything good. Anyone have any go-to recipes that freeze well and/or are delicious?

Haha yeah but aren't some "drop cookies" instead of sliced? Does it not matter? I just don't want to be up all night making six dozen cookies!

o0o0o I see, you want them done and baked so all you have to do is slice?

Most recipes you can make the dough and freeze it, then just thaw it and bake it.  Whether you slice it or roll it shouldn't matter.  

Another option is to just make the cookies as is as freeze them after they are baked.  My mom and aunt make a shitton of Christmas cookies and that's what they do.  They just don't frostt them until they are unfrozen.  But you could make like 2 dozen at a time.
