Courthouse Wedding Dress Question

So, my fiance and I will be getting married next time he comes home on leave at a courthouse or at the town hall. I was wondering.. could he help me pick out the dress I wear?
We will be having a "traditional" wedding (or I guess, technically, a vow renual) after this term of his is over, and we're both back in the states. He will not be seeing that wedding dress that I wear to the ceremony.

I don't see a problem with that. I showed my H a picture of my dress, not with me in it, but what the dress looked like before our wedding. Best of luck with your JOP and VR.

Yeah. I mean, we'll probably be travelling to the courthouse/town hall together, and I'm not going to change into it in a bathroom, so he'll be seeing it on me beforehand...

I don't see why he couldn't help you pick out that dress!

I went shopping for my dress and emailed pictures of my dress to my fiance while he was in Afghanistan :) Would've brought him with if he was here but I'll probably end up showing him when I order it.

It's a personal choice that is up to you and your FI to make, if you want him to see the dress before hand then do it!

    katelyn that is so sweet!!!
While my Fi was deployed we sent pics of cakes, venues, color ideas back and forth to figure things out. I'm sure you sending him those pics gave him a big light at the end of the tunnel :)

Yeah :) He needed it. I knew it would cheer him up and wanted him to see it so my mom and I snook pics of all the dresses (my bff was our consultant at the bridal shop so it was pretty easy) and it made his day :)

Thanks guys! I sent him pictures of the ones that I really like that I have so far. :)

I brought him to David's Bridal before he left to go overseas, so he could at least tell me which type of dresses he liked the best. Haha. With these dresses it will be a bit different because I'm not looking for a typical wedding dress for the courthouse wedding. :)
