OPSEC/PERSEC?

I get the basic outline of what it all means but would someone care to enlighten me further? I've just seen it in several posts recently and would like to know more...or be directed somewhere where I can read up. Thank you ladies.

OPSEC is Operational Security, anything about deployments, missions, locations, dates etc.

PERSEC is Personal Security, names locations, etc.

PERSEC is personal security.  Limit the amount of personal information you allow out in the internet world.  You don't want people to be able to look you up and find you.
