I have an interview tomorrow! It's the first one since losing my job nearly 2 months ago. I'm really excited, and it seems to be a good fit for my skills. It's an international company that is based in the UK (with several other offices, most notably two big ones in China) that is just starting it's US/LatAm presence here in Miami. I think I'm well positioned as I'm coming from a British-owned company and I'm American who speaks fluent Spanish - I appeal to both demographics and can help bridge the cultural gap. Not to mention I speak a little Chinese, which I think they'll like. Anyway, I think I'm very qualified and I expect to convince this guy tomorrow!!!
So fingers crossed for me! Send me good thoughts for 9am EST tomorrow!!! If this doesn't work out, I'm going to continue to pursue the teaching certification, but it would be SO NICE to have a job finally! Being unemployed sucks a lot, especially when the government won't pay my unemployment. My credit card bill is scaring me.
