Military Brides

If you love Stephen Colbert and/or just need a smile.

I started listening to sappy songs, had to snap out of it and stop moping to get ready for the gym, so I decided to share what is making me giggle. :)
Happy fri.. I mean.. Monday. ;)

Loved it! Every Friday a radio station plays"Bang on the Drums" @ 5 pm. I think this song should replace it :)

I would so go fishing LOL but that's me. I used ot go night time fishing with a bunch of the gils. We got the poo scared out of us most times since it was in Louisiana in the swamps but we had a blast. We never became good at it but we had fun trying lol

WOW you are a brave woman!! lol! Last time I went fishing I was the first to catch something and super proud! until I realized I had to kill it.. and then I freaked and cried... >_< ooh one day I hope to grow up...

aww nothing wrong with not wanting to grow up when it comes to those kinds of things!

I hated catfish! and the snapping turtles. We honestly would just cut the line as close as we could and we put them all back we weren't into killing them either. The hooks desolve. It was rare when we caught one LOL we would find the "prettiest" lure and see who won that title that month or week LOL

MY DD was cutting FI grass about a month ago and encountered 2 snakes, talk about brave, but I gave her a L-O-N-G lecture not to ever behead them again. She was very lucky we think they weren't posionous. I personally would run! What was funny I told her there are more "snakes" in the grass around military bases then any where else about a month prior of her cutting this grass. When she told me what she did, and after I gave her the parent lecture,  I said "see told ya about the snakes by bases!" LOL

LOL! omg I love your snake lecture!!
THe only thing that scares me is spiders, but I'm getting better about that.
That is so rad I didn't know they made disolving hooks! That is so awesome! I may need to rethink this whole fishing thing. I love night stuff too. My neighborhood is really safe, so I used to take midnight walks on the weekends to help me get rid of some energy and put me to sleep.
Luckily the Fi isn't gone very long for this TDY trip, and I'm in the second round of midterms for the quarter so there's a silver lining (because I can't get CRAP done when he his home).

I don;t think any of us were/are able to get much done when DH gets back. The hardest thing to adjust to is when he gets out, and there is NO where to send him "off" to, I would tell mine aren't you supossed to be going anywhere any time soon? LOL I used to love night walks as well, night time was my cleaning time as well. I slept better. Granted I was blessed that when DXH was in we didn't have what is going on now, I think I would have to have cleaned 6 houses at night. I so commend each of you and am glad to see our military men have such great women who supoort them.
Yeah they started making hooks like that a while back, it does take a bit for it to desolve, like I said we just made a fun night out of it, if one would catch one we would crack a joke like how it smells like that "one wife" at eveybase. All sorts of stuff. We got stuck in the sand once burried the car practically, the next day we went back and luckly some guy was out on his 4 wheeler and was kind enough to haul us out LOL
Well going to go get some sleep have a nice evening and a good day tomorrow!
