I'd give them to the bride/bridesmaids too, but that's me.

I wanted to see what you came up with because of your comment about getting it for the bridesmaids too.  I would give them to both the groomsmen and bridesmaids as well because I think it is a useful item.  I like practical gifts.

I also got one of those in my stocking the year I turned 18. Super useful for the last 8 years. If a kabar is too, knife-y.

I don't see why it has to be anything different than what you would get a civilian groom or groomsmen.
    -flask
    -engraved beer mug
    -engraved pocket knife
    -cuff links
-round of golf at a local course

I agree with PP. It doesn't have to be anything different than what you get anyone else.

but it does have to be different, specially if the military men are wearing class A's/dress blues or equivalent of because they dont need cuff links, and as far as a flask goes, most guys are 17 or 18 when they join, thats too young to drink, a round of golf...just cause you are military doesnt mean you play.....

i too am getting married and need ideas for military men, im getting my non-military cufflinks and other things, but i need ideas for the ones that are military and are coming from out of town for the wedding (if that matters)

    thanks

Um, just because someone's in the military doesn't mean they can never wear cufflinks, it's actually not my taste at all to give people things to wear on the day and then never again. The last ball I went to, all the Marines got flasks with the unit logo on them. Even the babies. And I'm not sure that I knew golf playing was a thing for service members, I thought it was just a thing for people in general.

My H always wants gifts that aren't MC related. I get in trouble if I go on a MC shopping spree. He says that he and all his Marines live in the bricks, wear the uniform, and are surrounded by the Corps, so when it comes to his time off he likes to take a little vacation.. The Military is their job, not necessarily their whole life.

Get them the same thing you would any one else. Don't single them out just because of their job. Thats kind of ridiculous.
