    Mine is the wives club.

And the neighbor across the street... They are trying to sell their house so they don't live there anymore. It's hot at night so we leave the windows open in our bedroom.. and I can hear one of their fire alarms beeping every few minutes because the battery needs to be changed... O.o I have really good hearing and it's driving me crazyyyyy

The neighbors. Being that rowdy on a Wednesday night should be a crime, especially with these apartment walls being paper thin. :/ I don't know about them, but I have classes today and need my sleep.

FTL, I totally would have broken in by now.  Or called the cops and pretended that I thought it was a security alarm, just to get someone to unlock the damned house and unplug the stupid thing!

My boss is grinding my gears.  He shows up 2-3 hours late every day and is pretty clueless about everything.

bahahaha all I can think about is the episode of Family Guy where Peter gets to be on the news channel and host his segment "What Grinds My Gears" :)

PMS grinds my gears. I have my first fitting for my wedding dress today since I bought it and I have been obsessing about eating cookies all week. Luckily I have controlled myself and not given in and have only eaten cookies today. And I've gone to the gym all week so that should be good.

My mom grinds my gears obsessing over me inviting my brother's trashy girlfriend that she knows I cannot stand. Last night she informed me that she went through the addressed envelopes and wants to know why her name is the only one that I didn't put Ms. in front of. Ummm because I didn't want to mom? And because she's so trashy she won't realize the difference? Plus I already told baby brother to inform her that FI and I don't want her there, we're only sending an invite to shut my mom up. I understand my mom's stance in this situation but I have asked her to quit forcing this issue on me and just accept that i'm never going to like her and she's just my brother's flavor of the week, and I don't feel like wasting my time.

Calindi- I think I'm going to leave a note. Is that super lame and b!tchy of me? I don't want to be rude... I'm sure they probably don't even realize. Fi doesn't even hear it!! I have super hearing or he's deaf.. lol!

LMFAO young. cookies. Hilarious. Take pictures and tell us how the fitting goes!!!1
How long has brother been dating trashy woman? We didn't give very many +1s. In fact, only one person has been allowed a +1 that isn't married.. and that's because she is a BM and we have hung out with him quite a few times now so it seemed only fair. Plus they live long distance since he is in Canada, so I want her to get to spend time with him whenever she comes back home from college (like for the wedding :P )

zeldakins- that's why I'm glad I don't live in an apartment anymore.. although when we move to our next station I want to find a swanky apartment/condo building to live in... but We'll just pick a place away from college kiddos.. blah.  :P Although Fis video games will probably drive anyone crazy with that crazy surround sound />_<

Young, why even invite her?  It seems worse than telling Mom to STFU to invite her but to tell your brother that she isn't welcome. Just... forget to mail the envelope?  Your Mom has seen the invite, she'll never know the difference.  Mail yourself the RSVP that says no from her!

    Laughing

I think it's super important that your siblings like who you're dating.  I couldn't be with someone who didn't get along with my brother.  I get along with FI's sisters better than he does (though we're still not super close, but that's just because that's how they are) and my brother refuses to call my FI his brother-in-law - the moment we got engaged, he started just referring to FI as his brother.  Didn't even want to wait until we were married.  So now it's, "How's my brother?" whenever we're on the phone.  And my brother's dating a girl who I adore - I may have pushed him a little too hard on the "you're next!" thing... I may have said in a drunken moment, "If you ever date anyone else, I'll tell them I liked her best."  Oh well!

Co-worker that sits next to me.

I am working with time sensitive material. When I am working and look like I am writing an e-mail, Chances are it is important. I am just pretending to know what you talk about when you ask me if I have heard a country song just so I can get back to work quickly. Not everyone wants to know your business, please stop reading aloud the emails that you are typing up.  Also, I know I work in the I/T department…. That is totally different from the facilities management department. Don’t complain to me when the printer stops working -  All Technology =/=  I/T. Also, please stop talking with your mouth full… it’s gross.

Otherwise you are very nice =)

Work is sort of grinding my gears today, the fact that I am always fixing someone's mistakes. FI's sisters grind my gears because no matter how much I try it gets no where.OH! And our damn antisocial neighborhood grinds my gears! Why can't pepople just be friendly?

Other than that it's been a pretty decent day.

Ugh.. I sent out 1,200 letters, made 130 phone calls, put up flyers everywhere I could think of for our open house at work today.  I made 4 dozen mini omelets, 4 dozen whole wheat apple cinnamon muffins, 2 dozen pineapple zucchini cupcakes (with fat free cream cheese frosting).  I got literally 2.5 hours of sleep. I was at work at 4:45 this morning.  All of that effort for.. 4 people.  4 PEOPLE?! Are you kidding me?!  I signed up 2 new members, but they didn't get letters, they woke up today and just decided to join. Plus all the techno upbeat music gave me a migraine today and we gave our last 2 ibuprofen to a member who had cramps.    SERIOUSLY?!

My lab teacher has yet to give us ANY grades back and we're on week 4, plus in 2 weeks has yet to respond to my 3 emails asking about grades, and telling him I would have to leave early today to go to the doctor about my photosensitivity (Basically I'm allergic to the sun?! I thought you had to be born with that or something..)  I'm fairly certain that he just likes to get paid by TRICARE so he likes to schedule appointments and lab work just for fun...

    I need a nap.

... that my former colleague, who is the worst person I've ever met, applied for a job at my company.  And that they seem super impressed with her credentials.  It's taking everything in me to be diplomatic in the way I express my distaste for her, just on the off chance she ends up working here (god, I'd put my head through a wall).  She's self-serving, combative with everyone around her (especially authority figures), she's malicious and backstabbing, loud and rude, selfish, obnoxious, ambitious in the step-on-your-back-to-climb-up-the-ladder kind of way.  Everyone in my last office hated her, but she was a sales person and very good at her job and they obviously kept her since she brought in lots of money.

    Sami-pineapple zucchini cupcakes sound amaaazing.

I'm really disappointed that we aren't headed to Vegas today for our best friend's gf's birthday weekend. It's a money thing, and I totally get that, especially considering what we have spent on moving and the new puppy, but I'd still like to be out having fun as opposed to here cleaning. Because I have to keep reminding FI that you don't just drop trash (bottles, napkins, dishes) when you're done with it, you put it in our nice new trashcan. And that if you see the puppy has pooped somewhere, you go ahead and clean it up.

Also, just read the reviews of our apartment complex on apartmentratings.com. Scary scary shiit. We haven't had any problems with them, but now I feel like that's more of a "when" question than an "if" question. We're allegedly under new management, but there are lots of stories about people having to pay extra beyond their deposit to get the place cleaned.

The fact that I have to go to my bridezilla cousins rehearsal dinner today, and the fact that she's gonna try and make me her bittch, as usual.

Oh, and this is for you, Young! :)

Haha thanks CAB :) I love that show!

FTL and Calindi: My brother and gf have been dating since March. He had just gotten out of a 3 year relationship 10 days before that. I agree, I think it's very important to get along with siblings SOs. My brother knows how I feel but he always chooses getting laid over family so he throw me under the bus to her every chance he gets. I literally can't talk to him about anything without him relaying it back to her. My mom wants me to invite her because she thinks it isn't fair that baby brother isn't allowed to bring a date and because my parents LOVE her for whatever reason. I think I may have her invite get "lost" in the mail even though my parents would probably figure it out. It wouldn't be so bad if my brother had better taste in women and if he didn't cheat on every single one of them. I guess to each him own, but he's ruining mine and his sibling relationship while he's at it and it kills me.

And yes, I'll take pics tonight. I'm just not sure how to upload them but I'm sure it can't be too hard?!

It grinds my gears that people want to text me at 1am to see what I am doing and then I text them at 11am and they don't respond. Um, I am sleeping at 1AM like a normal person, what is so important?

My throat! I had to break up some lasagna pieces to use for my lunch since we're apparently not buying food/ cooking normally until we move (in mid-October!). Now I feel like there's a piece of pasta stuck on my tonsils (I looked and it isn't a shard of pasta). If I'm getting sick I'm going to be an unhappy traveler next week.

Maybe I'll skip my run, finish my work, and take a nap!

Sami- That is terrible!  I'm sorry more people didn't attend.  If I lived near you I would totally come for the whole wheat apple cinnamon muffins! Smile

I mentioned this on my month board weekly rant today, but it really does bother me so I'll post here too.

It grinds my gears that an acquaintance of mine posted on facebook asking for people's help to name her unborn child.  Maybe it is just me, but I feel like that is something her and her husband should decide on.

I had to sit at a training for work today to give me training on things I already know. I mean things I have been doing for 3 years. It did not even provide refresher information for me. It was just boring.

I get to do it again tomorrow too! YAY!

Unfortunately they supplied a list of names to choose from and you were to tell them the one you liked the most.  Or else I would have.

Can you just see the conversation years down the road "Mommy, how did you decide what to name me?"  "Well honey, there was this social networking site called 'facebook' and I gave my friends--and some people I haven't talked to in years--a list to choose from!"

FTL- I've been looking at a house that's up for rent in the historical district of town and a bike ride away from the university (I'm not willing to drive there anymore, 45min to not find a parking space is ridiculous and I'm not gonna risk getting towed either). It's really nice and much less expensive than the apartment that I'm in now. I just want SLEEP! XP
